Account vanished? Unjustified ban?

I’ll paint the picture clearly. I’ve been playing since launch. I have never ever been banned once. I switched to PC for addons and overall performance in January of 24. I stopped playing around September 24 just played other things and was bored, it happens. I always take breaks and return to the game and what better time to try again with the new content out? Login information does not work my email is not receiving the forgot options nothing my account is inaccessible. I logged into my account maybe once or twice from like December to January and in February I got an email from ZOS about accidental membership renewals or something affecting mine and others accounts. I paid no mind as I wasn’t actively playing. Fast forward to 6/2/26 my account is gone…. Alll the work. Why or how was my account removed between September 24 and June 25 when I wasn’t even playing the game? No emai telling me what happened or what no communication at all.

    @ZOS_Phoenix Hi I appreciate you responding to this as it’s really disheartening to return and not have access to anything. The solution you mentioned I’ve tried but also does not apply because my account that I’m trying to access does not appear to be in existence anymore. I sent in tickets with no response. I’ve had to communicate through this account my PlayStation account instead of my PC account. It’s as though someone deleted my account.

    Hello again Devs, mods, and team.

    I thought this would be a pretty clear case of a mistake and I would have my account back by now or at least have an explanation for why things are they way they are currently. It’s been days and after guidance from the forum and speaking to two employees on customer support I feel as though I’m not getting answers or adequate assistance in this matter. So maybe I’ll just show you and the community.

    So YouTube videos showing me playing on MY account last year as I stated is the last time I was actively playing. For good measure my first video on YouTube I’ve been playing for a while so if there’s any value in keeping long time players, subscribers, customers, etc I’m not feeling the sense of urgency to keep them or get things fixed sooner as I’d have to spend more money on the new content available which is what I intended to do.

    So we have videos of my playing with my User D visible.

    This message was sent to me in February of this year when I was absent from ESO for quite sometime. It looks like a lot of people were affected. The message was sent to me on the email I use for the account and shows I HAVE AN ACCOUNT at this time linked to the email and the only UserID I have. Message below.

    We found that some players' memberships were not auto-renewing as expected. While we have resolved this issue, your account was affected. Although this did not impact the actual benefits or length of your membership at the time, your membership was not automatically renewed.

    Since this error has been resolved, any new recurring ESO Plus membership will renew as desired.

    So My user Id is visible I have an account and access to the email account associated with the account. June 2nd 2025, none of it exists. It’s all gone. I get a request from a ZOS employee asking for my user id character names, and platform. When provided with that information I get from them

    If your going to tell me the information to MY account is wrong then clearly my account was compromised, if that’s not the case and it was banned or terminated how is that possible between September of 24 and June of 25 when I wasn’t playing and I have proof I had an active account from ZOS in February of 25? How has my account been hacked and all my information changed without a single email from ZOS about things changing? Why was I not informed of any action I might have been banned for? Why am I not on any of my friends friends list?

    I am not feeling the customer appreciation or support from someone’s who’s been here since the beginning.

    11 days later, over 5 different employees I’m still waiting for a response as to what happened to my account. I believe they are doing what’s necessary but 11 days? I just believe if I could speak with one employee or even in person this could have been handled days ago. Rather than multiple people asking me for the same information I provided to be met with the same answer. “We cant find the account” or it doesn’t match well that’s the same thing the last person said and I informed them I made zero changes and have received no emails stating anyone other than myself was changing my account information. If a mistake was made on ZOS end idc mistakes happen but rectify it and let’s move on it’s not like I’m saying I’m never playing again quite the opposite I want to play and my account seems to have experienced some kind of error or something because it quite literally vanished to the point they can’t find it and I didn’t delete it.

    18 days later and I am still waiting on an explanation as to what happened to my account. I have not heard from customer support in over a week. I know there has to be hundreds maybe more tickets submitted each day and I understand manpower and availability but where is the service? 18 days multiple employees now a specialized team working on it ,that hasn’t updated me in over a week, and I’m just as confused now as I was in the beginning. Just looking for more customer support is all so it can be resolved quicker and I can get back in game and off these forums.
