I just can't completely drop Werewolf, no matter how awful they are. However, the only thing I've been able to find they do decently well is tank, so I've had a WW Tanks for the past 3-4 years.
Anyone have any werewolf builds (other than tanks) they've found effective <crosses fingers>? I just hate how terrible WW are at everything else. There's got to be something out there!
Unfortunately until ZOS adds grimoires via scribing or enacts a big werewolf update, they will be essentially a detriment to your build. They're playable for sure! They just struggle a lot more compared to virtually everything else bummer because it's such a cool fantasy within the elder scrolls universe. Same with vampire!
Edited to add:
You CAN complete a LOT with werewolf and have an absolute blast doing so. I just mean virtually everything else will be easier when NOT using werewolf - tanking or DPSing
If you build them right, they can (as designed), be extremely effective and powerful dps. The only role you'd probably have trouble with as a WW is healer.
Grand Master crafter, all styles and all furnishing plans known pre U41.
Vamp and WW bites available for players.
Shoot me an in-game mail if you need anything, happy to help!

To add to this, the current meta for PvE damage dealing involves getting 100k+ DPS in area of effect. Werewolf can hit 100k+ DPS, but only against a single target.
It's definitely not an easy playstyle, despite only having 5 possible skills (12 morphs if you count the Ultimate which you never use while transformed) to choose from!
PC/NA — Lone Werewolf, the EP Templar Khajiit Werewolf
Fascinating how the mythic (shapeshifters chain) meant exclusively for Vamps, Werewolves, and clown form continues to be outdone by other items. And by fascinating I mean really annoying
Tri-faction tryhard but mainly EP in Gray Host lately (PC/NA)
