This eleven year old game just cannot handle this much glowing stuff. Let us turn off the obnoxiously glowing and exploding mounts so we can see the stuff in game that is really important. Stop catering to narcissists.
having a toggle and intensity slider for the flashing/strobing effects would be awesome

I don't like the glowy stuff, but I can live it it.
However, the audio on the new mounts is obtusely intrusive.

Everyone can make hyperbole. Wanting good quality cosmetics that fits the setting and a several decades old franchise does not equal bland and soulless. In fact, this random flashy stuff feels a lot more soulless.

Even my trifecta horse from vLC annoys me lol, and it's not nearly as flashy as some crate mounts. I do have some apex mounts, but I only use more subtle ones (like the ice wolf).

That’s a pretty cool trick. You’re gonna have to let the rest of us know how you intentionally exclude specific items from the rewards pool when you open a crate.

It's called not equipping the cosmetics you don't want. There are mounts and pets I would love to be able to sell for gems, because as they are they are simply garbage cluttering up my collections.
Or, not participating in the gambling crates in the first place because the "rewards" are ugly and not worth investment.

no. i, and many other, do so because they physically hurt and can trigger migraines.
People do not complain about inaccessibility due to jealousy.

Well, that would be why I didn’t say 100% of the people complaining are doing it because they are upset about not having one. As I stated earlier, I am completely aware that some people are super sensitive to bright and loud things.

yea i know you didn't say 100% and i doubt your "jealous" 90% is even more than 1% of people who complain about mount effects.

This is *exactly* what people who buy these mounts want to think. "everyone is jelly of me!!" That's what ZOS is actually selling.
But in fact, many are judging them negatively. Believe it or not, the income bar to afford such things is very low. No one is actually impressed except the people who have them.
