ZOS, please lower the price for crown packs permanently

In my opinion, crowns are way too expensive. The price needs to be lowered by 30%, and I promise you that I would buy a lot more crowns, especially the 21k crown pack. The cost, in SEK, for 21k crowns is 1349 SEK, which is a lot of money for digital currency that is worthless outside of ESO. I'm of the opinion that many more would buy the larger crown packs if the price is lowered permanently, because it would incentivise players to spend more money, especially when new crown crates drop.

30% is my suggestion, and I go by my own experience. I always wait for the crown pack sale, and it's a shame, because there are always items I want from the crown shop all year long. ZOS would earn more money because instead of me buying 21k crowns twice a year, I'd buy them more often if they had a lowered price permanently. I most likely would pay for 21k crown pack every other month. That means that you would get 3 times more money from me since I ALWAYS wait for the crown sale.

I'd also like to add that I pay 100 SEK less for the 21k crown crates when they're on sale. That means that you would earn more money from me for each 21k crown pack by permanently lowering the price by 30%.

Please, ZOS, consider lowering the price.

I agree with this, if crowns were cheaper I would buy them but at the current price it’s extortionate

They've made billions from the crown store so I don't see that happening. There are occasional sales though and some people will trade you crowns.

I agree, as do most people, but they'll never change it

I've always thought it would make a lot of sense for them to lower the price of crowns, or the crown price of items in the store. A house, or even some mounts, can cost about as much as an entire AAA game. But after 11 years, there is pretty much no chance they are going to do this.

It sucks, because a lot of people wait for the crown sale, so ZOS just ends up losing money by lowering the price even further than I suggested. Also, lowering the price gives people the chance to buy crowns at any moment in time, instead of 2 times a year. I really don't see any downside to a permanent decrease of the price.

i still think 4000 crowns for a mundas is a rip off. i think theres 12... so 48000 crowns.

    48000/1650 (a pack of crowns) = 29.
    29 packs at £7.50 = £218

in real world money thats £218. Let that sink in. £218 for mundas stones.

the mind boggles at that one.

I'm pretty sure the marketing team at ZOS has done their homework and know how to optimize their sales. ;)

I can't see them doing this anytime in this. I do agree though that the 'usual' pricing is too expensive.

But, people still buy them (including myself) and as long as people are buying them, (at the 'usual' price) I guess those in Marketing will see no reason to lower their pricing any time soon.

Besides, ZOS has made a lot of money from the sales of Crowns etc and they (ZOS) are running a Business to make money.

IMHO you'd have better luck convincing Congress to repeal the Law of Gravity.

lol i would wager more effort has gone into this than the last three chapters combined. That said, zos hasnt gotten much out of me. i get all the chapters on deep sale and rarely get eso plus for a month or so if i like the features they come up with. I have purchased crowns once i think about 7 years ago...on a deep sale.

at first i thought the cash shop was a great way to play without a sub, but now i see that this practice actually drains the games energy over time as it becomes the focus and the game becomes secondary to it. Better off with a tiered sub and expansions where all development goes into the game.
