Am I missing the point of PvP at Level 10?

Yes OP youre missing the point...PvP is not PvE content. Mobs are on rails, or are simple...You face enough of Mob A you know what to expect and how to overcome all Mob As. You cant do that in PvP. Youre dealing with other humans. Each one differently built and utilized differently. Some will burn down fast while others will take much more effort and attention.

On top of that. Dont go in alone. Group up. Not only is there large numbers of PvPers running about in there. But spread out on the roads and near quests are gankers who hide in the shadows waiting to hit you when youre distracted.

So, I finally went to Cyrodiil at level 10. Is there a reason to even do this? Got my "unmentionable" handed to me quite often against level 50 players and NPCs. I take it that unlike GW2, your char doesn't "scale up" in PvP. If that is the case, out of curiosity, is there a legitimate reason to do PvP before level 50?

It's a lie, pvp doesn't start till you hit VR. So yeah you can't play the way YOU WANT as it was mentioned before. /unsubbed

Would you leave these forums already troll? YOu have made so many comments how you unsubbed, so leave already? what are you doing here? Find some friends outside of the virtual world.

Here is one thing people forget to do in PvP. BLOCK. Even in lower levels you can block, without a shield, mitigate some damage, let the enemy blow stamina/magicka and either retaliate or find a way to escape.

    ...

This is what makes me chuckle about people wanting small scale PvP.

Certain classes and builds are so incredibly overpowered right now that anything on a smaller scale will be a joke.

Which means the same problem already exists with the only difference being those differences and overpowered classes are simply hidden in a mass of players.
Kind of like sticking your head in the sand, pretending the problem goes away because you can't see it.

Thing is OP class can get killed in mass PvP. In small scale battle... Well OP will stand above your dead corpse.

This is why I do not want small scale combat. It leads to riddiculous class balance. Vamps needed to be nerfed that was something that was visible to everyone. But the rest is doable.

Yet, with my build I was not doing much in PvP when vet ranks grew up in numbers.

Will have to chceck again as I unlocked bound armor recently, so it may improve my survivability. (I am pure healer) so I don't even have bolt escape yet.

BTW shield bash has to be nerfed. It truly does insane damage. Or it should stun opponent, deal damage but has to cost let's say 80% of stamina. I can kill any mob way faster with shield spam than with sword... Or with resto staff.
