Some seem to crash for me atm. For example I was excited for permanent mementos but it crashes as soon as I enter combat.
Addons can be both a blessing and a curse. Addons that are constantly functioning like mini-maps are generally a trade-off between performance and features. If you choose to use an addon, make sure you truly benefit from the features provided.
Just wanted to thank the PC folk for porting their add-ons to console! You've no idea how great just having a minimap, lorebook and skyshards revealed are, such a huge QOL improvement. Thank you guys/gals so much 💚
I used to envy console players because they would play the game, but on PC it often feels like we're playing addons. I've been in PC trial cores with former console players and definitely learned to respect them.

I think many PC'ers take addons for granted and have gotten used to so many QoL improvements that they offer, that we forget how grindy and awkward the base-game can be without them.
So, yeah, respect to you console folks who have stuck it out over the years.
It's not that simple because when one plays with others, they need to adapt to the group paradigm. Though I think it would be much more interesting to play trials without addons, it would put me at a significant competitive disadvantage, inflate my error rate and thus affect my teammates. It's not practical. How addons affect the game depends on the addons you use and to some extent how you have them set up. If you feel like you're playing the addons instead of the actual game and that bothers you the solution is to change your addon setup.
That's my point and why I have so much respect for my guildmates who now play on pc, but completed most trifectas on console. Some veteran trials are just way easier to do with a specific trial add on.
I don't know the tank/healer pov, but vOC is pretty easy without the specific oc addons once one knows the mechs. Or even without knowing the mechs: I was in a chaotic blind run that cleared day one without anyone in our group having a decent understanding of the mechs. It was so much fun to figure it out on the fly. I've since learned the mechs pretty well and it's not a difficult trial. The last boss fight is pretty crazy while learning it though.Just look at the newest trial Ossein Cage. With the duo boss, an add-on just shows everyone where to stand. But on console, without this add-on, it is often total chaos, as there are always players who don't know where to stand to get the mechanics right.
On the other hand, in vAS+2 and vCR+3, I feel like addons are carried me for a while.
I don't know if it is available on consoles but my favorite add-on is WPamA. Makes it easy to decide which character I want to log onto next and what is available for them. Tons of information that is useful even if playing only one character.
