Potions should be off global cool down

There are so many times when I try to chug a potion and it just doesn't work. They should be off global cool down so they always work as long as you press the button.

Do you mean removing potion cooldowns entirely, or allowing potions to be used off of the GCD (but still respecting their cooldown)?

Werewolf Should be Allowed to Sneak
Please give us Werewolf Skill Styles (for customizing our fur color), Grimoires/Scribing skills (to fill in the holes in our builds), and Companions (to transform with).

Pretty sure they mean that they should just instantly react... like how they used to. There was a time where you could just press the button and the potion would consume. It was especially nice in PvP (and honestly even in PvE as a DPS) because you didn't have to stop doing absolutely *every* action for a least a second to be sure that the command actually went through to the server. Templars could jab, dizzying-swingers could swing, and rolly-pollys could rolly-polly to their heart's content, safe in the knowledge that the potion would just happen.

I mean allowing them to be used off global cool down. Currently you have to stop everything you are doing for a second and hope that the potion chugs. And it will also still make the potion consumption sound effect even though it wasn't consumned. They could at least start there and fix that.

This explains why potions not working, more so on templar and archanists who uses stabs and beam who is channeled as spamables.
    Truely annoying.

Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

I agree 100% with this. Pots should never have been included with the games GCD mechanic.

Pots aren’t abilities and as such aren’t offensive nor is any pot so OP that it negates a players offense.

Plus, enabling pots off of GCD would be one small step toward fixing the games very clunky combat feel. As is we’ve all read so many threads about abilities failing to trigger, target detection issues, and worst of all, break free bugs. Having pots excluded from GCD would help offset some of these issues because many of them rear their head right at key, crunch points in a players strategic rotation.

By not being able to access a pot without a delay the combat helps reinforce and encourage bad spam combat that we all try to avoid.

Keep the pots cooldowns themselves but take them off the GCD effect.

At the very least, I feel like they should only be unusable while stunned, if that's possible while making them smoother everywhere else. Otherwise it would cause an issue for PvP and potentially trivialiaze a few PvE mechanics.
