If you've been looking through traders for something specific, it's useful to sort by newest first so you just scan down all the newly listed items rather than sifting through items you've seen before.
Sorting by newest means you'll catch bargains too.

I never thought of that. I'll have to check it out now... if it's working!
Thanks!

It appears that this change - which is new with Update 46 for console - is to accommodate the green "learnable" icon which now appears to the left of the item icon in the list. Which is silly, because the item card still shows on the right and tells you whether or not you have learned the motif (or whatever) already.
Also not liking the transparency on the whole UI - I don't need to see the store keeper lurking in the background, thank you.

That was also my thought, but the folks on PC got the same change but didn't lose their column so it's making me scratch my head.
I haven't updated my PS4 yet to check there (only my PS5), is anyone on an older gen console seeing this same issue?
Hi all, this was an intentional change made to make room for some new icons. However, the team is looking at a better way to format this to have sort by time back in for traders, while still having room for the icons. We have shared this thread with the team so they understand player sentiment around this. We will update once we have an solution to this. Thank you.

Being fixed before Zeal of Zenithar is probably not going to happen. Totally understand the frustration with the timing and will highlight this point with the team.DragonRacer wrote: »I am immensely glad to hear you have shared the feedback of this thread with the team. I presume there is no hope of this being fixed before Zeal of Zenithar launches on Tuesday?
This is a fair point. And again, will take this to the team to find better ways to talk about some of these changes earlier, where possible. Appreciate the feedback here and your participation in our Guild Summit earlier in the year.DragonRacer wrote: »It's also a bit perplexing because we literally JUST had a first-ever guild summit with ZOS a few months ago. I realize the team cannot discuss certain things in advance, but something THIS impactful could have literally been asked of the gathered GMs at the summit (I was among them) and you would have instantly had real time feedback that could have prevented this. Now, instead, everyone is scrambling and console trading guilds are pretty upset and riled up.
