when your character face south , nb Master Assassin passive will really not work

as title ,it a very old bug in night blade i know(6 year ago?),but old bug just a visual error,you not really lost your penetration
but new is ture lost 6.6% crit in addon when you face south

My understanding is that this is CMX not knowing what direction you’re facing in reference to the boss, so it just has south as not flanking. Not sure why it doesn’t know if you’re flanking the boss or not, but the real numbers should be right because the game does know if you’re flanking.

My understanding is the same as yours as to what CMX displays for the crit chance in the stats panel.

But CMX also records each hit and whether it was a crit or not, so we just check the actual crit rate, which seems to confirm that this isn't reflective of the logic the game uses.

Renato, how many hits did you test with in total?

I aimed for 3k hits with each setup:

Facing south, not flanking: CMX quotes a 58.9% crit chance in the stats panel
Actual crit rate samples: 408/676 (60.4%), 394/671 (58.7%), 299/520 (57.5%), 266/443 (60.0%), 440/733 (60.0%)
Crit rate across all five samples: 1807/3043 = 59.4%

Facing south, flanking: CMX quotes the same 58.9% crit chance (should say 65.5% if it reflected the flanking bonus)
Actual crit rate samples: 488/728 (67.0%), 500/756 (66.1%), 542/829 (65.4%), 485/737 (65.8%)
Crit rate across all four samples: 2015/3050 = 66.1%

Difference: none shown in CMX, but an observed increase of 6.7 percentage points from flanking
