Armoury Station Problems

THE SUB (Multi)-CLASSING is fun, but it destroys the Armoury Stations use!! Wanted to go into a dungeon as a Tank, so into Armoury station load in my Tank, Not a problem, just like always. But now I have no Subclassing, and to get it back will cost 1500 Gold... Bit of a disappointment here

Why didn't you save a build with the sub classed skills before you switched? armoury is doing as intended it saved your old build that you switched two, why would you expect it still has the stuff you were just experimenting with that you haven't saved yet?

Simple answer to WHY I DID NOT SAVE IT!!!! I have 20 toons, and all of the slots I have are used. therefor i do not want to spend 20 * 1500 on an item that I should not need to!

Another point! i SAVED THE SLOTS before i DID Scribing, so why am i still able to scribe AFTER bringing in an old Armour setup????

Then your going to have to make a choice on which builds you want to keep, it is no different than if you wanted to use a different weapon or different arrangement of your original class skills you would still have to make a choice about which build you want to save in order to use in the future without having to set it all back up again from scratch each time.

Scribing isn't saved in the armoury, bunch of scribed skills got reset as well after they made changes and refunded the ink in the mail.

I am all for NEW, however a simple solution would be to treat the "Sub / Multi - Classing" similar to the Scribing or any other quest, or simply what you have and have not levelled up in the way of the skills ( level 50 anything does not drop back to level 2 using the armoury station) once you have done it you have done it, your choice of which classes / sub classes would be there levelled up.

it should have been made CLEAR that if you reverted to an alternative build then you would loose what you had done, and PAY to get it back...

YOU ARE MISSING THE OVERALL POINT though, people Bought Slots, I know of one person with over 8 Armoury Slots, they have specific Builds for Specific JOB's , Now unless they KNOW about the fact they have to buy another BEFORE changing, it either renders this update irrelevant or the Armoury station irrelevant .. OR ZOS Could have Given Everyone an Armoury slot to be used with this!!!!

You are digging out blind to alter the Viewpoint, "No NO NO its not the update, its the user at fault!!!!", where as I came on to Give the Warning about the problem, not to assign Blame or Fault, Simply to notify folks of the existence of the problem, Forewarned is Forearmed!!

I have never had any scribed skill Scrapped via the Armoury Station, so Do not know about that.. I learned them , used / did not use, they are simply there if needed

You are only talking 1.5k gold per change though arent you? By doing just dailies you'll get enough gold for multiple switches, and people are always flagging the game needs more gold sinks, well here is one!

I read all the angry rant posts in this thread and still do not understand what the poster is saying is the issue. Save your current build before switching builds. Every time.

You don't lose any of the progress you make levelling up the sub classing skill lines remains account wide, you pay a flat gold fee to reapply them, in a similar way to when you pay a gold fee to swap out morphs or reset skill points or get someone to bite you to become a vampire/werewolf again after getting cured/not saving your curse in the armoury etc..

Don't know what is so confusing about it, your swapping out your class skill lines, why would you think they would behave differently than your existing class skills when it comes to the armoury.

    I give up....

i don't swap out morphs, do not reset skills, my vampire and my werewolf were bitten by NPC's Not paid for, neither cured, Nothing confusing about swapping skills...

IN the armoury it does not cost to put skills back, they are there, you simply put them back on again, if you wish.

except with this guff you simply cannot put them back, unless you pay. No matter the cost, that's the point. You should simply be able to put them back... After all , As You Said, "You don't lose any of the progress you make levelling up the sub classing skill lines remains account wide,"

In my opinion the game is working consistently, not saying I agree with it, but paying gold to readd subclasses where you havent saved them to the armory fits how it works with everything else, attributes, skills and morphs all work this way when not saved to the armory.

There have been a lot of angry rants about the update. I think this one is my favourite. The random punctuation! and CAPITALIZATION really does it for me.

If you save your subclass setups in the armory it won't cost you to change back to them either. Exactly the same as any other loadout.

Subclassing is the only thing you have to pay extra each time you change it because even with an armory you cant go back to a setup where it doesnt have any skill lines.

You can go back to no CP. No skills. No attributes. No armor. No cosmetics.

But you cant go back to no skill-lines....so you have to always pay a penalty to swap around. It is the only thing in the game you have to pay a penalty for and its the feature that is advertised as experimenting with other skill lines to be whatever you want to be.

Since this is an irritating roadblock added to the process it pushes people away from experimenting and instead makes them second guess the decision on what to pick since its sudo-locked in. People will be encouraged to go look up builds online instead of just trying something new themselves and figuring it out. So now more people will be running the same builds which is just what people are complaining about now.

Make the armory able to have a state where you have no skill lines at all, or just remove the cost do skill line swaps at some location...can still have the ones that cost gold or scrolls for convenience factor...but the current place being so out of the way and still costing gold just feels bad.

No reason to make people feel bad day one of a big content release.
