I did the pursuit and tried ToT again and -can-not-stand-it-! I skipped the dungeons (all group) outside one public. Very nice house and worth it, but I really wish ToT was some mobile game that is not in ESO. It's terrible and not even sure what is happening there. Funny I almost won a game (was destroyed on the win last play) but the funny thing was I did not know what I was doing to even get close. It's a long, boring, and useless game. Anyway glad this one is completed. Enough of my complaining.

I got the house without finishing any of the 3/3 group dungeon pursuits (yet), or the 5/5 and 10/10 Tales of Tribute pursuits. Personally, I love Tales of Tribute and play 3 NPC matches every single day, but I haven't played against another player in a long time. It would be nice if future Tales of Tribute Golden Pursuits and Daily/Weekly Endeavors would be expanded to include NPC matches, but I can appreciate that ZOS might be trying to encourage more Tales of Tribute players to engage with other Tales of Tribute players.

I finished up the GP today and got the house. Given the amount of time provided to complete 25 tasks I saw no need to rush. It is a nice house but with 80% of the item slots being used by not subscribing to ESO+ it will take some time to figure out what goes and what stays. In some ways it will be a storage house for me but one with an organized theme given its museum like layout.

Unlocked it this morning, and... Wow! It really IS a gallery, isn't it? I'm curious what others will do with it besides using it as a museum of all things Tamrielic.

When this round of GP dropped, I thought, "There's no way I'll hit the capstone with those choices," but something possessed me when I hit 15 pursuits early this afternoon. I relaxed a bit, took some extra time for myself (my play-time has been very limited, lately), strategized a bit (taking advantage of the overlap between some of the pursuits), put my head down, and powered-through.

I unlocked the house without doing the BG, ToT, or the group dungeons.

I've got to do another 2 dungeons 3x each. Not my only option obviously, but it's the least hassle of the ones left and I can space it out so it doesn't get too tedious.

I don't know what I'll do with the house itself, especially since I've got quite a few free houses, in addition to the ones I've bought with gold. But I do have plans for some of the furnishings, especially the big carpets.

I was a bit worried initially as I’m a huge housing nut and I knew I would not be able to play for at least 12 days in May, but it just took me four evenings to finish the 25 tasks necessary to get the Gallery.

Similar here. I resigned myself to unlocking the house on my NA accounts but no way I could do it on the very 'new' EU girls.

And yet, like you, with a bit of strategy in the extremely limited game time I have (including a 4-day trip out of state a week ago, so no gaming at all!), I now have 4 houses to experiment with.

Not going to lie, with the low level EU characters, it was a struggle at times, especially the dungeon bosses in zones to which I had to creatively travel.

For the community: it would be SO much more helpful if, instead of so many of you saying some variant of "it was way easy, you just need to git guid", a version of "here's some suggestions which might help" would be appreciated especially by those who don't do ToT or Battlegrounds or PvP or drudge through an instanced dungeon multiple times.

@Tandor Why? Its a free house and 25 is veeery doable with spending just a little bit of time. i still need to do all the dungeons, if youre on pc eu we can do them togheter if you want :)

It's nice how this week's weekly endeavors tie in with the golden pursuits, at least as far as fishing and group dungeons, such that players who are still working on the pursuits have a bit more incentive to do those activities.

If (like me) you're likely to be working on this right up to the end make sure you allow yourself at least a couple of days for unexpected problems.

I'm assuming I won't be able to play the last day of the endeavour (I don't know that's the case, but I don't want to assume I will) and that I'll miss at least a few days in between as well.

It might mean doing something like back to back dungeon runs I could have spaced out, but that's better than running out of time on 24 of 25 with the last one 2/3 done.

There's a lot of advice earlier in the thread, but most of it comes down to:
      1) Look for things you will do anyway or like/don't mind doing.
      2) Look for ones which can be combined and do them together.
      3) If you have to do something you hate space it out instead of forcing yourself to grind it in one go.

For Battlegrounds my advice is the ONLY requirement is you're in one when it ends. You don't need to win, you don't even need to achieve anything and matches only last a few minutes. You will need to play so you're not reported for AFK leeching, but as long as you do something it's unlikely other players will comment on your performance, so even if you think you'll hate it you can get through it and then you've ticked one off the list.

I’m trying to see what the issue is here. That’s a huge list to choose from.

And most of those dungeons can be run solo on normal.

The issues in my view are that many of the options aren't going to happen organically, aren't going to necessarily be fun, and can be disruptive to the people trying to do the content normally as people will be rushing the areas to get the kills for it.

For example, I went to do one of the delve ones and I found five + other people sitting waiting for the boss to respawn.

I had the same issue, and decided to do a dungeon rotation instead. Fungal - CoA - Spindle - Kwama Mine and then again and again. Went much easier, because it was instanced. I had the house the first weekend. What I really like about this GP is that it really is doable for everyone.

Unimpressed with the "weather control" that barely affects the weather, a sum of gold (whoopee) and a house (no, I haven't seen it) for tasks that seem rather unfun and pointless if all your characters are already maxed out. I'm uninterested in running dungeons for which my sticker book is full, I'm not ever going to play ToT, I'm done with dolmens after that anniversary nonsense, most zones I've already completed, and it seems like grouped content isn't even working correctly (at least on EU servers).

Also, the crime wave event doesn't even tie into this pursuit? Wouldn't it have made more sense to tie the Crime wave event in, like steal X items or pickpocket X number of items, do a Dark Brotherhood or Thieves guild quest, etc?

      (editted for typos)

Then don't do it. I skipped the entire PVP themed GP a while ago, because I don't care about that. No need to complain. Next GP might have something for you.

ZOS gives you plenty to pick from to get the rewards. It isn't like all of them are PVP or BGs for the folks that don't like to fight real people. I was able to get the house (thanks for a great reward!) after a couple of weeks. Don't understand the complaint on this event.

My husband and I completed the Golden Pursuits on day one. We were fortunate that it fell on one of our vacation days.

It took 10 hours to complete with stopping for lunch and dinner as well as taking breaks to do other things around the house.

I must say that completing the delves was a pain because so many people were just waiting around the bosses for what seemed like extremely long spawn times. If you weren't paying attention when the boss came up, they went down so fast that you had to wait for a respawn to get the completion.

We two-manned all the old dungeons and literally ran through pulling the mobs until we couldn't run anymore just to get them done 3 times each, that did suck and took some time to complete. We've been playing since 2014 and haven't done a lot of those dungeons in years because, well they are boring to us. We joked that it reminded us of the movie Storm of the Century, based on the book by Stephen King where Andre Linoge says "Hell is REPETITION."

Once we got all those out of the way it was fairly easy to get the rest done. Doing daily writs on multiple characters and actually traveling to one of our houses with crafting stations to do them took care of the complete 15 quests and crafting items pursuits. Harvesting 50 resources by doing a couple of surveys. The Dark Anchors and Incursions we both easily done by running along side the Dolmen groups they always have in Alik'r.

We finished up by finally relaxing at some fishing holes and were able to get some nice furnishing recipes and motifs while doing so.

I must admit it did seem more like a grind, especially with the goal of getting it done on day one, but being rewarded with Kynareth's Icon of Storm Control and the Grand Gallery of Tamriel house was well worth it to us.

You can do 25 without doing ANY of the Named dungeons or doing any card games.. By starting a New Character, you can do everything you need easily up to doing the Public dungeon bosses. But even these are not that hard when your level is in the teens and you have a companion. Your only issue might be having a provisioning station in a house you own. If you got that, start the Psyjic questline and just go far enough to be sent to Artaeum. Gather butterflies (insect bait) for free. Do your fishing but catch 50 fish. clean fish. go home and use Fishy Sticks to do all 3 provisioning crafts. Note- do each craft one at a time since doing a bunch at a time might register as just one toward the completion of the quest

In short... the Mansion is worth the effort.

For example, I went to do one of the delve ones and I found five + other people sitting waiting for the boss to respawn.

I'm gonna be real, I'd wager for the vast majority of players, these things DO happen organically.

I mean just doing your random normal dungeon each day will likely get you most of the dungeon ones since people queuing for those specific dungeons will pull in random queuers. Even more organic since at least a few of these will be on rotation in the undaunted. Doing your pledges on 3 characters doesn't take long at all, and gives you keys.

Doing your daily crafting writs in your own home will get you all 3 of the crafting pursuits in a single day if you have multiple characters, or just a few days if you have 1 character.

Class ability kills is about as organic as it gets, as is login rewards.

The quests will be completed with either the dungeons or the crafting dailies.

1 BG takes 30 minutes tops, and most of that time is likely spent in queue doing other golden pursuits like fishing or harvesting. For that matter, you can complete those while waiting in queue for your random normal as well. If the pursuit is "to win" you might have to try a couple times, but that gives you more queue time to do other pursuits while you're waiting. Throw your points into health, equip a resto staff and some recovery food, and heal people.

If you want to do subclassing next patch, you're gonna need skill points since subclassed skills are 2x the skill points. Gives you a reason to go do the delves to get the skyshards on a character you haven't grabbed them on yet. I'd say that's pretty organic.

If you aren't completing at least half of these organically, what are you spending your time doing in ESO exactly?

I have multiple accounts and actively play both PC-NA and PC-EU (my level of activity and interest varies across the accounts and characters, but I do play them all). I've completed the GP on all of my NA accounts, and am working my way through the last couple EU ones. And that's taking into consideration that I was 'down' several days due to migraines! Honestly, it's not a terrible Pursuit. I figured out the most efficient way to do it and have been knocking out one or two a day for the last little while. I like the house and have enjoyed playing around with the weather control. It's something to work toward in game and it has side benefits like grabbing skill points on some characters as I go along.

I meant to post this a while back and I guess I'll post it now even though it's not the most relevant to players anymore. I was able to get this endeavor done with only a little group play and 5 days left while primarily playing Oblivion Remastered. I missed several days and it was still easily doable. I like how much time ZOS gave us for this pursuit and would love to see future pursuits also give us a good amount of time to do them. It made the pursuit feel much better to do. So, that's my closing remark on it.p

Just dropped in to do the player house pursuits and to say thank you. It's a beautiful home and as someone who doesn't have the Almighty American Dollar, I appreciate being able to get such a cool pad without selling a kidney.

Went in at night and the atmosphere was on point.

Cheers everyone who made this happen.

I agree that having plenty of time made a big difference. I missed just over a week at the start because I was busy with work, and a couple of weekends in between when I was away, and I was still able to complete it because we were given plenty of time.

I don't expect all golden pursuits to last a month, but it would be nice if they had an equivalent amount of leeway on when they're done. For example if ZOS intend it to be doable in a day keep it up for a week to allow for people who can only play 1 day that week.

I've now completed 37 of the Golden Pursuits on PC NA and PC EU. The only one I haven't done is Aetherian Archive. I'd like to complete that one, too, but it will depend on whether I can find a group of players who want to run it.
