An account will only ever get to be within the CP 1 - 159 range once. When reaching CP 160, new characters on that account will never need or want to use food/drink or equipment for the CP 1 - 159 range, while they still do have use for equipment in the Level 1 - 49 range (until they reach Level 50).
I think equipment and associated crafting materials for CP 1 - 159 should be moved into the Level 1 - 49 range. That would mean fewer levels to get the most use out of existing equipment in that range, but the unused CP 1 - 159 equipment would be desirable again.
Further, food/drink, potions/poisons, and enchantment glyphs in the CP 1 - 159 range should be moved to the Level 1 - 49 range as well.
Overall, that would mean that upon reaching Level 50, a player could immediately use what is currently considered to be CP 160 equipment, even if they haven't reached CP 160 yet. This would be a good change because CP 1 - 159 equipment and consumables are useless after an account reaches CP 160 because that account and its characters will never be in that range again, but since new characters will be in the Level 1 - 50 range, it makes the most sense to rework the equipment and crafting materials to be useful there.
