For anyone who doesn't want to level a skill line, I suggest Fungal Grotto and Spindleclutch on normal. They should be very easy to find groups for in the activity finder and they're also able to be soloed by most players.

The only Group Content is the BG and AA. All those dungeons can be easilied solo'd on normal.

I noted that most can solo them in that reply. But they are designed for groups and not everyone can do that. For those that cannot, they can use the group finder or engage in a different activity. I heard leveling a skill line is very quick and easy on an alt.

On my main, well established accounts, this should be relatively "easy" - as in, doable.

On my very 'young' EU accounts, some of this is proving difficult. My girls are not really leveled and skilled or well travelled, and our guild is not on EU (so playing absolutely solo). It's going to be a struggle.

I love the pursuit for "do 3 specific dungeons." They're all easy, and with so many people doing them, when I queue for RND, I'm more likely to get those, instead of the longest dlc dungeons that aren't worth the 10 transmute crystals I'll get in the end. I'm all for it, and hope they make more appearances in future golden pursuits.

    The rewards are great!

My complaint is with the type of activity do 3x delve bosses in X zone, simply because there is only one boss per delve and they have a long spawn time. So, every time I go in a delve, no matter the hour of the day, there are already a few people waiting for the boss to respawn.
Who designs these tasks? I have no issue with doing specific dungeons 3 times, because that's something measurable, you have some control over the in and out, but with delves is just not fun to wait for the bosses to respawn.

When you finish the pursuit and have some free time, you can actually help people with this one. Pick up a quest from Bogrul and if it is in one of the targeted zones, the boss will spawn for you because you have the quest. Don't attack the boss and let everyone else kill it. You can then get the boss to spawn again and again so that people can complete more quickly.

Not sure if I have any more play time left, after waiting and wasting time for delve bosses to spawn. This was a poor idea, and am mostly sure, the team who picked it, haven't tested it like wasting 30 minutes or more for boss delves.

The idea was to give some feedback. I prefer to do something, anything than waiting in a game like this, and sometimes I wait and some other player gets the kill because I wasn't quick enough. The devs should increase the spawn rate during this event or add a few more options.

The rest is fine. I am waiting for the weather control for years. Also the house is great, though I wonder how many people will do anything meaningful with it, since it is so impractically large.

I didn't do any of the delves. All of the dungeons can be soloed fairly easy on normal. Pop out a companion if need be. If you can get a friend or guild mate to tag along that is optimal since you can reset the instance quicker.

Yeah, it would've been better if they opened it up to 15 bosses from ANY delve. That way we can go to the less populated ones and have a chance to get a hit in.

I tried to do the Glenumbra delves, but by the time I could see the boss, it was dead. This happened a few times. It was unpleasant. I'm just going to do the dungeons instead; boring but it will take less time.

This was a decent pursuit with a lot of variety in the choices. Unfortunately it included repetitive tasks and a lot of waiting around (for those of us who wanted to do the delves and PD ones). There are how many public dungeons, delves, and dungeons in the game? Why make us repeat the same dungeon 3 times when there are so many to choose from? Why not "do 3 dungeons in the AD area"? Why not "kill 10 bosses in DC public dungeons", or just in any PD?

I can understand they wanted activities in the non-DLC areas, so everyone could participate. But if they didn't make the dungeon/PD/delve specific, then those with DLC could have done them elsewhere if they wanted to, and those without could have done them in the basegame zones.

If they're going to have these types of tasks, at least increase the spawn rates while the event/pursuit is active. Have the bosses come up every minute. Five minutes is too long.

Just returning to reiterate and emphasise how wrong I think you are, how balanced this GP was & how awesome the rewards were got were. 100k gold would have been a little more generous and useful, but the house more than makes up for it.

Anyone who knows me knows I’m not afraid to criticise ZOS if I think something is rubbish (hence why I was behind bars on here recently), conversely I’m also not shy about praising them when they do something I think is excellent & kudos to them, I think this was excellent.

The tasks are really achievable and many may be consolidated to clear them faster.

Short of them just dropping us a new house, a new weather control system & a bag of gold into our inbox, I’m not sure what people want. Every GP has someone moaning, but it remains obvious from the tasks that they’ve tried their hardest to make them accessible to all players, whilst retaining their faithfulness to the dedicated theme.

I got lucky, 2 of the delves had bosses spawn immediately over and over again for delves.

The last was boring but was able to do it semi-afk.

For public you can run between 2 or 3 bosses and it's pretty fast.

Alternatively you can just pick a different activity.

I was doing Corpse Garden the other night and was standing near the boss's spawn point using my NPC assistants after I'd killed the boss. Suddenly the boss spawned again, maybe a minute after I'd killed it. I killed it again. A minute later it spawned again, and as I was attacking it a group of players ran up and joined in. After that it kept respawning but was taking longer, maybe 5 minutes.

It's true that the rewards this month are great. It's just that the activities could do with a bit of flexibility, not a fan of running old dungeons several times over, and not a fan of delves in general. I do agree these are great activities for newer players, though.

Having specific dungeons and delves does make things more annoying. I have an alt account that hasn’t been to many delves so when I turn the corner the delve boss pops and I move to the next delve and skyshard. For the older account it is just stand and wait which isn’t enjoyable. Easy but boring.

30 mobs in the areas I liked because it was zone wide and the anchors got the count quickly.

The public dungeons have been painful because people are scattered about so you have no idea which boss is about to pop back up. Waiting till the big wave is over will make it quicker, but the design puts everyone into the same place and sadly people tend to know be cooperative.

The group dungeons are also easy but boring. And there is the whole speed runner issue. Not to side track, but running without a plan doesn’t speed up the run. Most of the ones where we ran as a group and nuked everything were faster than the ‘speed’ runs.

The bulk crafting seems inconsistent. Bulk food and alchemy counted as one craft for in the house (Xbox). I took a toon that didn’t know all the alchemy combos so made it a useful activity.

In general I like the list and the number of options. But the group dungeons and delves are pretty boring. The delves were fun for a baby account, but just a camp for my main account.

I did the tasks in the first day. Maybe 8 hours.

I think if someone just plays naturally for a month, they will be 80% of the way there, and may just have to grind out a few more tasks.

This was fair. I like the house, but its clear that its designed to encourage eso+. With all the included plants and detail items, it has less storage than a medium house. I had eso+ when I got the house, I moved all the things from my medium house into this, and now I'm above the maximum without eso+, so I can't put anything in it. I'm back to using my medium house to store things. Maybe someday I will have eso+ again, or I will go through the house and destroy it by removing the detail items.

    @ZOS_Kevin

I think really useful feedback to the team would be that in general players are fine with doing tasks to achieve a reward. What is less fine is when those tasks are arduous due to the time gate mechanics of the game.

For example, Kill 1 delve boss no problem. Kill 5 - Annoying because the respawn raid is so bad. Public dungeons - Kill 1 boss or a specific boss e.g. group challenge boss would be fine, Killing 10 bosses is annoying because of the respawn rate, basically every boss was camped and died faster than you could get there if it was called out so you have to then sit at 1 or 2 bosses which makes it not fun.

This is similarly the case with the dungeon runs, doing 1 of each zone's dungeons would have likely been fine, but having to do 3 when you can't easily queue into them for a good reward (e.g. in the daily random normal dungeon queue) is annoying.

This is exactly the same issue when it comes to mythic leads. The worst of which has to be needing to complete Dragonstar arena for A CHANCE to get the lead. If it was 100% drop rate it would be one of the more annoying leads but generally fine. Similarly the leads where 'daily' quests are involved for example the lead from the crafting dailies. When I was trying to get this lead I did crafting dailies on 16 characters and it still took me 10 days to get it. Its not a fun way to progress.

Tbe game is designed for players to be spending a few hours doing these pursuits. I doubt that the intent is to stand around twiddling thumbs while a boss spawns. Of course, you can. If you want.

There are enough delves in a zone to just go do all the zones, which yes, may take longer but it more interesting. Doing each public dungeon twice will get the 10 for that.

I did all of them and I agree with the point about the delves. My ONE complaint with the golden endeavors is when they require to kill something in a certain zone and there is only one boss, or only one dungeon. Even when there are a few more of them (like dolmens or PD bosses) all of them will be camped to the point where it's hard to get in a hit. It also for me takes the fun away when I have to carefully position myself to get a hit in a delve or PD that would otherwise be cool to revisit (I assume part of the reason for that pursuit item). Because I can make sure i do enough damage quickly to count but not every player can.

Instead, as others have suggested, open it up a bit - I like the idea of revisiting zones you haven't been to in a while, but choose one of the factions that you can go to any zone in, or better yet let the player choose.

As far as dungeons, all I can say is I think the concerns are more anticipated than real - I used the dungeonfinder and queued for all the dungeons on the list and never had to wait more than a few seconds to get one. I know some people who did them all that way in under an hour. Though I queued on normal and vet, I almost only got normal dungeons that were quick and easy to finish (and can be soloed for veteran players as some pointed out or duoed if you need a little help on the bosses). WAY faster and more fun than sitting at a PD or delve boss waiting for respawn. If you have friends or even if you don't you can do this no problem, no matter what level you are. Plus with the skill styles being available for keys lately, there's all the more reason to do dungeons.

Similarly, I just made an AA trial on groupfinder, noted it was for the golden pursuit, and let the group decide what to do. We ended up getting the speed run and hard mode for many new players, so bonus. For any group content, just use the tools available to make groups when you don't have one. But yes please ZOS don't create camping situations for golden endeavors, it takes the fun all out of it.

Lastly for skill lines don't forget that crafting has skill lines and there will surely be one of your chars that doesn't have them all leveled up yet. Just do the writs with some XP booster or buy some intricates and you'll have that one done in about 10 minutes. Not to mention that people should be leveling up skill lines in anticipation of mutliclassing anyway, to make sure you have as many as possible available.

Some of the fun of these endeavors for me is figuring out how to do them in the most efficient manner or to further some other goal I have, even if at first it doesn't look like a fun task...
