I am sorry for posting in this section, but until there is general forum (which the devs said they working on), Ill post my view here.

I have played ESO from 5 days early access. Sure, bugs, balancing, fixing, lag. Lots of stuff to fix.

BUT, Zenimax IS fixing em. Sorry if you feel that the fixes doesn't know the second you report them, but they have already shown they working hard to make everything better.

I am overjoyed about ESO. Before I played it, I was hoping at least HALF of what they said about the game was true. I was wrong. Most things are true.

I play without a single addon. I get a very happy bunny when I find skyshards. Always hated pvp, untill Cyrodiil, wow! I guess that idea came from Daoc?

I just wanted to throw in a post that I am very pleased with the game. I accept bugs and unbalance or whatever, since Zenimax already proven they are working on bugs, but this takes time.

I still have not had a single moment of boredom in the game.

Thanks Zenimax and please keep up the good work. Don't listen to the whiners, there are quite a lot of us out there who enjoy the game on a daily bases.

I agree and am enjoying the game, but that's something I can't wrap my head around.

First of all, why are the game devs involved in the website and forums? That doesn't make sense, they should be separate teams of devs as they involve completely different skillsets.

Second, adding a category or section to a CMS based forum tool like Vanilla should be a matter of clicking a few buttons in the back-end. So I don't think they are "working on it" per se as much as they are "thinking about it."

It's either that or someone lost the admin credentials for the forum platform…

Attention Zenimax: Stamina builds don't hold up to magicka builds, and this is causing most of your class imbalance. It makes melee weapons and bows weaker than staves and class abilities. It makes medium and heavy armor less desirable than light armor. Fix this imbalance, and you'll address most of your balance issues.

Yeah, I agree. And I read forums on a daily bases. But Id take crap forums over fixing bugs etc.

And arnt there Zenimax people who are moderators here? Not just DEVS?

But hell yeah, these forums needs to get some sort of order in it. And FFS when you press the ENGLISH tab...dont let bloody german and french posts pop up!

    Game is amazing, no question.

Its the support that you get once you have a problem that is the issue, I hope they get it sorted I really do, they need to be able to patch fixes in quicker and have support teams that dont take 10 days to even grasp what the problem is you are explaining because they simply dont know the product theyre supporting.

j/k; in my own case, once they fix grouping (the reason I'm playing and subscribing to an MMO instead of a much less expensive single-player game), ESO will be where I want it.

Always nice to see Zeni staff members posting on the forums....lol

Seriously though, I think you're seeing ESO through rose tinted specs. Its good yes, has great potential yes, BUT... doesn't live up to the hype... YET !
I've even put my money where my mouth is and subbed for 3 months (BTW It'd be nice if you refunded me for the extra 3 months you charged :( )

V1, not finished Coldharbour yet and really enjoying the time I do have to play.
I've really enjoyed exploring every area to 100% before moving on, the PVP has been pretty entertaining though does need some touch up here and there.

I feel many of those who are complaining about the lack of content are the same ones who came here for something new because they used up all the content of their previous games. No MMO will ever be able to produce content at the speed players can absorb it, if you want unlimited content find a sandbox based game where other players are your content.

Loving the game, its exactly as I wanted it to be in many cases. Give me housing, a barber and that thieves guild and I will be quite happy content wise ;)

Its also great that the grouping tool is available for raiding, so also us Casuals will be able to do a raid once in a while without going through application forms :)

A few angry birds are still left at the forum, but I am sure they will be gone soon enough and its always great to see a positive post in the forum!

Loving the game myself, only let down for me is the grouping side of things.

People cry about bots but, every new MMO is going to get flooded with bots/exploiters etc as they are so vulnerable upon release and its the most financially rewarding time for them. Give it another 1-2 month until Wildstar is out the majority of the bots on here will flock to there to bleed that dry, then after Wildstar another new MMO and so on...

Also you've got to remember we are on a Megaserver so when you see 4-5 bots in a dungeon or out doing a circuit looting nodes, imagine if other MMO's like WoW were to swap to a Megaserver... the amount of bots we have would be nothing in comparison

I honestly don't even see those masses on bots. At the first week yes there were those 3 men groups in dungeons and so, but since then?

Almost never a bot in sight, I honestly question that "massive problem". I played WoW with tons of bot issue´s and its nowhere near as bad as there.

Is it the EU server that's just not so infected, is it me being in the wrong zones? I play on two factions and see tons of players yes, but almost no bots.

I'm vr1 and I finished the main story. Now i'm taking a break with my main character since I don't like the fact that
veteran zones are recycled zones of other alliances :\
The game was funny. But this part is lame.

Loving ESO as well, except for the part where every trait I research now takes 2-28 days!

Only issue I'm having is that whenever it's time to sell, it becomes a 20 minute alt-fest while mats are shuffled between mules.

Agreed OP, I love the game.

Certain things I wish were different, but it's a ton of fun and will only get better over time.

Personally I'm looking forward to Dark Brotherhood/Thieves' Guild and the crime/justice system the most.

I'm not a ZO or ESO Fanboy and when I feel there is a problem that takes away my enjoyment of the game, I complain loud and clear (i.e. Bots), diminished returns, crafting, etc. However, I will say that my wife and I are enjoying going in and exploring together. She commented the other night on how pretty Auridon is, and I agree. The artwork is exceptional and makes the immersion a real joy. So although it's not perfect and still has lots of room for improvement, I believe it has the potential to become one of the best MMO's of all time. Just don't screw it up Zenimax :)

I agree with the OP, and I am happy to pay a monthly sub to help fund their continued efforts to make it even better. I really hope they stick with the spirit of the game and make it something that really lasts and makes a mark.

I never had a problem with the various bugs and balancing, as such things really should be expected to start out. As the OP says, they have been fixing them.

The biggest problem I have believe it or not is the bots. I have clinical depression, and the mood swings from having an incredible time to being utterly demoralized by an army of bots breaking immersion and ruining game play for a whole section of zone mobs for hours on end really sets it off, to the point I just have to log out sometimes. Can't remember running into that in any other MMO I have played, and I have played many.

Other than that the game has a lot going for it. The class building and customization is a lot of fun and keeps you always working towards something. Crafting is fun and dynamic, and the ability to craft set items is really nice.

All in all I am a happy customer.

I am obviously addicted. As much or more so than any other MMO i've played in a long time. There are plenty of issues, but they are working hard to address them. Whether you think so or not. This game is going to be just fine for many years to come.

I love this game too, but a ton of things need to be made fun again, or need to be made more fun before we continue into greatness.

For example a bunch of things have been nerfed due to bots...
    • Dungeon Bosses - nerfed due to bots
    • World Bosses - nerfed for no reason at all
    • Container Loot - nerfed due to bots

All of this is adding to the feeling we are not being rewarded properly for playing the game. We need to be able to follow a trail of loot and rewards when playing a game.

On top of this we have punishing game mechanics such as -
    • Gear Decay - very high...every mob you kill within level range can award you gear decay
    • Guild Shop Fees - very high...the game takes too much money off us for each item we try to sell
    • COD Fees - very high...we are forced to charge a ton extra to cover the postage fee.
    • Bank Expansion Costs - bank is too small to start with for most players, and costs far too much to upgrade.

Then when players reach vet content they find they need to spec into certain builds to be viable, and often need groups to do what should be single player content. Plus not being able to find provisioning materials of the correct level in the vet areas - they really need to fix that. Then add to that how grindy it all is...ESO becomes not so much fun at vet levels.

If players go back to level a new alt they run into the harvest bots in starting areas, and can't even grab mats from nodes because they're all taken.

I think ZOS needs to work on a few things (including bugs - for example weapon swap issues and skill lag/loss issues), and I'd like to see them come back to the table on some of the things they nerfed because of bots, and reinstate them because of real players.

This game could be glorious, just needs a lot of tweaking, and the reintroduction of fun and exploration in buildings (empty containers = lack of exploration fun).

I am enjoying game also, knowing everything getting fixed is a matter of time, but the only thing i can not tolerate is the bots and gold sellers. I quit playing wow after 7 years when the game, especially PvP, infested with bots, sometimes some battlegrounds was 90% bots.

Today i made a new char just to chill out, Bleakrock was terrible, i spent maybe half an hour to report 20 bots, i only able to play till level 5. That was a terrible experience, if this bot situation will not have a radical solution, i don't think i will continue my support for long. But it is just me, the game needs more active gamemasters jumps in and directly ban bots and gold sellers, instead "here we come, all bots and gold sellers log off please" messages...

There are a lot of things I'd like to see done somewhat differently, and a lot of content and gameplay bugs that need to be fixed, and something needs to be done to combat the spammers and bots.

All of that aside, I'm really enjoying this game. Heck, I've now got 2 accounts and 16 characters across all of the races (this was the main reason I got a 2nd account - with 10 races and only 8 character slots I needed more), classes, and factions, and none of those characters are just mules or hireling gatherers. I've actually been playing all of them.

I do fishing every now and then. Even in early access when I had no clue about the game.

I just found out like last week, when I read an article on ESO homepage about fishing. I had no idea you could get good stuff from it! Fishing isnt boring...I find it relaxing before I run off and die again from the same mob I've tried to kill 3 times :-p

If you dont mind waiting for them to get everything going , that is great for you.

I will probably be gone this month , im quite sure i will reach vr10 and then im done.

And i tell you , that is more than any of my friends actually stayed to do.

This game got a good base , but a really rough start.

Im not complaining , i got my moneys worth on this, if most of the bugs and balance issues were fixed i would have probably played for longer.

While I agree that I am enjoying the game, I don't consider the people who criticize and point out flaws "whiners," I consider them playing consumers. They are people who may very well like the game as much as if not more than you, and out of that, feel the need to actively criticize it in order to see it grow and improve. I'm sure ZOS is working out the kinks, but they aren't omniscient and they need to know what the players biggest priorities are.

Sorry, I'm with yah on liking the game, but I don't care for the attitude of calling everyone with a criticism or complaint a whiner.
