There are ways to make it easier. I stacked many things.
    • Harvest 50 Resources from the World

This is actually harvest 50 resource nodes. But harvest maps work. I took a bunch of harvest maps since they are guaranteed 6 nodes and did those.
    • Complete 5 Quests
    • Complete 15 Quests
    • Craft 50 Items with any skill
    • Craft 10 Items inside your home
    • Craft 30 Items inside your home
    • Visit 5 Player Homes
    • Visit 10 Player Homes

These can be done simultaneously. Take daily crafting writs, port to home, do the items, port back to return the writs. You get craft items inside your home, quests and a visit to player home. Once you have completed 15 quests -- takes 3 toons to do that if you only do crafting writs -- then you can craft x amount of level 1 items and decon them to get to 50 crafted items. And if there are any player homes left, port to Sugar Bowl Inn in Rimmen, then to Hall of the Lunar Champion, back to Sugar Bowl Inn, repeat until 10 is full. Rimmen is the easiest I have seen if you port between 2 of your homes.
    • Kill 30 Foes in Auridon
    • Kill 30 Foes in Stormhaven
    • Kill 30 Foes in Eastmarch
    • Kill 10 Public Dungeon Bosses in Grahtwood
    • Kill 10 Public Dungeon Bosses in Rivenspire
    • Kill 10 Public Dungeon Bosses in Stonefalls
    • Kill 5 Delve Bosses in Malabal Tor
    • Kill 5 Delve Bosses in Glenumbra
    • Kill 5 Delve Bosses in Deshaan
    • Kill 200 Foes With Class Abilities
    • Complete 5 Incursions
    • Destroy 6 Dark Anchors
    • Earn 5 Ranks in a Skill Line
    • Earn 10 Ranks in a Skill Line

I have 20 toons, all levelled up. How to get 10 ranks in a skill line? Arcanist beam is great class skill so I checked if I have any skill lines there. S&B was level 12. So I took a shield, lost the 5pc bonus for Deadly Strike, swapped Quick Cloak for a S&B skill -- who cares about that in overland content -- and then went to Auridon. Do a dark anchor there and kill everything on the way from wayshrine to anchor. 30 foes comes quickly. Then Stormhaven -> Eastmarch. 30 foes done, dark anchors and incursions advancing, S&B skill line leving up, 200 foes with class abilities advancing. Finished dark anchors and Incursions in Alik'r Desert. Then to Grahtwood public dungeon and finished 200 foes with class abilities and 10 ranks in a skill line -- back to dw. Then just breeze through the rest of the public dungeon and delve pursuits.

All those done and it felt like I did only 3 different things: harvest maps, crafting, kill some foes.

While having to run three of each at least they are soloable dungeons. Kind of nice to have something like that that isn't completable within an hour or two. Also as for the PD ones they are in older zones so if you are there at least ask in zone chat if anyone wants to tag along.

As much as I try and keep ZOS accountable for bad stuff, this GP this round isn't one. This looks super easy to complete in the time allotted. I'm trying to envision a person who is only PvE, doesn't group, and maybe has just one toon..and even then looks doable. Keep in mind all those daily quests in IC and Cyro count as a quest as well.

For me this is the best golden pursuit yet.
    Great rewards and for free.
This kind of stuff you usually only get from crown store so for me this is the way to go.

Remember that you have 30 days to complete it.

I thought it was grindy until I looked at the items and started prioritizing. Got the quests done with daily crafting writs. I even got partial credit for crafting some master writs inside my house, and got partial credit for visiting houses. Got the resources done with one day’s worth of surveys. I got the delves done yesterday and this morning before they got too crowded, then moved on to the public dungeons. Kill 30 in those zones? Not too bad, only Eastmarch took a while.

I plan to avoid the ToT like the plague, and hoping to avoid running the easy group dungeons x3 because I have a full stickerbook. I hope to get an nAA run because I just need a few pieces left from there.

Fishing, and the daily rewards, and more visiting houses. I think that should cover it.

I can’t imagine filing that enormous house with only 700 slots, but I plan to get it anyway.

I refuse to visit other players' homes because that's breaking and entering!

Visiting your own houses counts. You can just visit your primary residence 10 times. Also you can only visit the houses of people who allow it, so it isn't breaking and entering.

This is one of the better Golden Pursuits.

I(t could be improved by ditching one of the three PvP item (Or indeed all of the 3 PvP items) and replacing it with some combination of Dark Sacraments or Heists. (And some thing out of Do X daily Endevours, find X Wayshrines, or find X Points of Interest if you are going to be optimally PvP free.)

PvP both Battlegrounds and Tales of Tribute should be separate games.

    Previewing homes also works.

I disagree entirely. I took the evening and ground everything out. The house is enormous and gorgeous. They really did an excellent job on this and imo this is the standard of reward and the type of effort that is fair to earn it.

I can not believe players are complaining about one of the nicest rewards we have ever received. It didn't take that long to finish ...... AND I could have waited for daily log in rewards.

You have 27 days to do this. Of course, not every activity is "exciting". But the activities are very doable and there is overlap between several of them, allowing you to finish more than one with the same effort.

This house is VERY VERY nice. I guess some players will complain about everything. I really wasn't expecting the house to be this grand. I've even heard some guilds planning on making this their new guild home.

Thanks ZOS. This was a well designed reward. Not at all too much "trouble" for what we received.

What are these pursuits? Do the same specific dungeon 3 times? Kill 30 random enemies in these super specific zones? I thought this was a housing themed golden pursuit what the hell is this?

I had it all finished within 6 hours, so it can be done.
    I'll share some tips:

    - Travel to dungeons close to wayshrines or cities. They seem to be the busiest.
    - While you are fishing queue for dungeons. You won't be in combat, so you won't miss it.
    - If you do crafting dailies pick a location with everything nearby, such as Riften. Crafting dailies will count as your quests.

With only 3 of the 30 or so pursuits being that way, I'm Inclined to disagree. Even a couple more for PvP players would not change that.

If we could do the Cyrodill and Imperial city quests and thus the Mayhem event and the PvP GPs, without entering PvP zones I might agree.

But we can't and we keep getting those because otherwise PvP wouldn't have the metrics to justify keeping them going. PvP should be hived off into a separate game so it doesn't hog the ability design space despite being a minority item that isn't important enough to be a paid expansion.

The major problem with the delve and public dungeon pursuits is the slow respawning of the bosses, which are being killed by the crowd of waiting players as soon as they appear. The dungeons don't have 10 bosses, so you have to go back to ones you already killed and wait for them to respawn so you can kill them again.

I don´t think they´re too bad, just a bit "annoying" in the sense that it ain´t much fun waiting 5 minutes doing nothing in a public dungeon or delve waiting for the boss to spawn. Also doing the same dungeons x 3 isn´t too exciting if I say so. Nevertheless, pretty easy golden pursuit this time around, but not much "fun" in doing them.

It took me two days to get all of the stuff done to get the house. And I did not really power through them, but I did work towards the objective.

I feel that the grind is enough for the reward offered. It helps with a ton of things. It gets new players with low level characters through dungeons fast (as in queue time and run time). It helps with some achievements (fishing) and I am sure there are others.

I am not overly fond of the house, I think its too large given the 700 max slots with ESO+. I like to decorate dense and I can run out of slots fast. But its a nice gesture on ZOS to give us a large house for the event.

I love it. I'm almost done and I'm solo'ing stuff.
It's the delve/public dungeons bosses ....like a waiting room and hope you get a hit in.

It's incentive to play more of my low level alts and start on the fishing achievements.

Also a full month with no rushing to get it done.

I haven't found it too bad though I'm not in a rush to complete the GP. I was able to piggyback some of the requirements with quests which allowed m to knock out a few of the pursuits pretty quickly. As an example I picked up the Fighter's Guild quest before doing the Dolems and as luck would have it on the days I needed to kill 30 enemies in Eastmarch and Auridon. I received credit towards completion of three pursuits. I'm close to completing what I'd call the solo content and don't think I'll have to run too many group dungeons to finish 25 pursuits. To me the dungeons are the only really grindy part with having to do a threepeat of each dungeon to complete the goal. I'd rather have to run a few more unique dungeons if given a choice.

I figure I will just do the dungeons if they are pledges for the day. I was able to knock out Arx on three healers today no problem which means tomorrow should be FG1 which should also be pretty easy. That will finish me off I believe.

I just got started on them, they are undeniably very, very grindy.

One thing I found disappointing was that you couldn't double up on the pursuits for killing enemies in Auridon and doing BC1, which should overlap but don't. There are other pursuits which double up (complete 5/15 quests etc), so this should be one too.

Don't forget you've got almost the entire month to complete it. Unless you're going to be away for a lot of that time you don't need to grind it out. You could space it out, like doing 1 dungeon run per day or whatever works for you.

I wouldn't leave it until the last few days either, just in case there's inconveniently timed maintenance or something stops you logging in. (I had that yesterday, I thought I had a quiet day at home, then plans changed and I was out most of the day.)

I've managed to get 5 just from things I was doing anyway - mainly doing crafting dailies and master writs, which also involved a lot of going between my houses. I probably won't make much progress over the next week because I've got a lot going on, but I think I'll be able to finish it before the time runs out without having to do things like days of back-to-back dungeon runs.

The trick is to go to delves that are far away from wayshrines.

Also the public dungeon bosses seem to be on repeating timers around five minutes. If you 1 2 3 kill some bosses, you can repeat the pattern 5 min later.

These are non issues for anyone with a brain and patience.

While I haunted delves, public dungeons and did all the grinds and got the lovely magnificent Grand Gallery of Tamriel on PCNA in just a couple of days, I'm taking this a lot slower and biding my time on PCEU.

I'm particularly liking the 3 x group dungeon quests as it's been some time since I went into that content. Surprisingly I've not seen the dreaded fake rollers or the speedy needies and that is in itself very nice. The dungeon runs have been the most enjoyable tasks overall in this very varied GP.

Slot Wall of Elements, Volley, or another AoE damage ability that doesn't need a target. Set a timer for 4:50 minutes when the boss dies.
When the alarm goes off, start casting the skill at where the boss spawns. You'll get a hit in even if the others waiting do all of the damage.

You may or may not get loot, depending on how many are waiting, but you will get credit for the kill.

(I tend to do quick chores around the house while the timer is running.)

For the levels, if you don't have every skill unlocked on every character, you don't have to equip a weapon to level it, you just have to have a skill for that weapon on your bar. And if you are starting near 0 on that skill, the first 10 levels come fast.

The only complaint I would have on the golden pursuit...the 35k of gold. its forgettable. Give us an item, emote, something to remember. 35k is a nice amount but you do forget it quite easily and its not even part of the conversation when it could have been at even less than 35k worth.

As for the grind? Got this the first day, super easy...do wish it had included more trial stuff to allow us to form more guild grind events to bring people together more. Delves and Dungeons being the majority and those being capped to a small group kind of limited our guild engagement. Could have included a run in all the craglorn trials, some normal, some vet, maybe even a hardmode clear as options. Anything to help with big group runs for guilds would have gone well with the theme of the Golden Pursuit.
