I refuse to visit other players' homes because that's breaking and entering!

I(t could be improved by ditching one of the three PvP item (Or indeed all of the 3 PvP items) and replacing it with some combination of Dark Sacraments or Heists. (And some thing out of Do X daily Endevours, find X Wayshrines, or find X Points of Interest if you are going to be optimally PvP free.)

PvP both Battlegrounds and Tales of Tribute should be separate games.

With only 3 of the 30 or so pursuits being that way, I'm Inclined to disagree. Even a couple more for PvP players would not change that.

Group content is not required to complete the pursuit, but you'll need to level a skill line to skip those. For anyone who doesn't want to level a skill line, I suggest Fungal Grotto and Spindleclutch on normal. They should be very easy to find groups for in the activity finder and they're also able to be soloed by most players.

Yeah, I was nervous when I first saw this thread (didn't look at it, but saw the title), but when I went into the pursuit, even though I thought 'oh no 25, will never be able to get that house, because I bet there will be PVP', and started actually counting?

25 that I can do without doing any PvP or group content.

Some of them will take time, some of them can be frustrating to do in the beginning (mainly because of all the other people rushing to do them, so bosses melt annoyingly fast sometimes), but all can be done.

So far I have done the first quests one, the incursions and dolmen ones, along with the kill people in X ones, and all the Public Dungeon ones. I am now starting on delves. I also did the harvest one.

This is the type of pursuit I like, where there are plenty of options to chose from.

Tip for the advance a skill line 5 and 10 times.

Make a new random generated character and skip tutorial.
Teleport to a city and interact with all crafting stations. It will discover all those new skill lines and those count as 1 advancement. Hit a cow (or something else) with the default weapon in your inventory for an additional skill line advancement.

2 bars filled in 2 minutes. Delete character again. Done.

At this point it would be smart for OP to just pivot into this being a troll post.

This is a really easy variety of activities with a solid reward. Thanks ZOS.

Also craft x items inside your home means you need to craft those items INDIVIDUALLY. Batch crafting only grants 1/x to that pursuit.

I batch created 30 robes and it counted as 30 on golden.

I made 104 potions and it counted as 2 for the “crafting in home” pursuits. I set the number to 25 potions and then 1 potion, both with the 4x passive.

They have fixed this issue before, multiple times, so it’s disappointing that it keeps recurring.

Catch fish? 40 fish takes at LEAST 10 minutes. How can I do that if I don't even log into the game?

    Seriously the worst.

Done 16/25 within 4 hours of game play.

Today, 2 hours more and I will be done with another 5.

Then around 4-5 hourse more and I will be able to complete another 10  .

So, with luck I will be done with this thing after 10-12h of game play in total.

And as a bonus I will be able to do the quests of those dungeons for the Skillpoints on my twinks  .

There are so many complaints about going through the dungeon 3 times... Have you never farmed dlc sets for pvp? in one day of xD, I'm currently farming Icy Conjurer, Unleashed Terror, and Widowmaker. And I had to run through each of these dungeons 10-15 times already. But there are still no necessary guns... When we can already choose at least the direction from which the guns will fall.

    I finished the grind today.

I wasn't planning on doing them all, but in the late morning I was taking breaks from work and doing the delve and public dungeon quests.

Then I started doing dungeons because the queue time was around 1-2 minutes, and each speed run took 3-5 minutes. I think if you do the dungeons now it is much better because a week from now there will be less motivated people. I ended up doing only three of the dungeons, although I had about 5 wasted runs. I would advise to plan it out and just queue for the specific dungeons you need.

Then I did some crafting and some dolmens.

It wasn't that bad. The house is really spacious. Maybe not the most exciting, but it is solid.

I refuse to visit other players' homes because that's breaking and entering!

Visiting your own houses counts. You can just visit your primary residence 10 times. Also you can only visit the houses of people who allow it, so it isn't breaking and entering.

This is one of the better Golden Pursuits.

I don't do dungeons! Or trials! Or BG's! I refuse to visit other players' homes because that's breaking and entering! I don't craft because my character is a mage who refuses to work with their hands! I don't claim login rewards! I won't kill overland mobs because I'm peaceful! I don't do dolmens because molag bal's voice hurts my ears! I don't do delves or public dungeons because I already completed them and I can't go back because it would break my immersion! I can't level up any skill lines except the ones I selected to match my only character's lore! Quests are boring! Please give me some activities I'm able to complete!

Looks like you ain't getting the free house :)

If your characters are all maxed out like mine are it might seem hard to find a skill to level. I made a basic white shield, switched out one of my DD's daggers and levelled up 1H and shield while I did dolmens (2 birds with one stone). It was surprisingly fast to do too.

I’m trying to see what the issue is here. That’s a huge list to choose from.

And most of those dungeons can be run solo on normal.

The issues in my view are that many of the options aren't going to happen organically, aren't going to necessarily be fun, and can be disruptive to the people trying to do the content normally as people will be rushing the areas to get the kills for it.

For example, I went to do one of the delve ones and I found five + other people sitting waiting for the boss to respawn.

Then you have to decide if you want what is on offer.

I wanted the pvp reward bear. Had the telvar & AP but not enough stuff from Battlegrounds. Not keen on them. But as I wanted that mount, did the required ‘grind’. But only one or two BG per day so did not feel that grindy, and filled up sticker book & got some interesting furnishings whilst doing it.

A lot on that list ARE going to get done just playing the game - and if not, then as a previous poster said, what are you doing in the game?! 🙃

I personally had fun with it.
To find some furnishings in the house was a pleasant surprise and the new climate furnishing is awesome.

Maybe a little too easy since i've completed it in the first day with the penalization of being unable to group because of the infinite loading bug.

I was hoping for the pile of gold to ba a return of the "dragon treasure trove" tough.
ZOS you should implement a way to access past event items for a cost in crowns or tikets.
It's unreasonable to pretend from a player not to miss an event in 11 years accounting the fact that real life at times can interfere in unavoidable ways.

I love this pursuit. Good activities and nice reward.

The only negative I think of is that it breeds bad behaviour that harms new players. I did these dungeons with a group I found in the dungeon finder and we extreme speed ran the dungeons while skipping everything and rush from boss pull to boss pull. The general consensus on chat was 'man I never want to play this at normal speed ever again' lol

I don't see an issue. Sure, those old dungeons are kinda boring, but they clearly designed it in a way that even a new player can easily do 25 tasks. There's plenty of time for that.
And there is no reason to participate if you don't like the rewards. I personally don't grind for items I don't like, and it makes things much less annoying.

They are boring because the difficulty has not been updated to keep up with players sets, cp ecc...
The bosses mechanics were actually fun when done at an appropriate difficulty.

I'm a beta player and still remember the old times when Aterian Arkive was difficult. I suspect many today don't even know the bosses mechanics because they are so easy that learning them is no longer required.
