Many incredibly boring activities (ie: "do this really old dungeon 3 times" instead of "do 3 dungeons"; "stand there waiting for delve boss to spawn and hope you get in a light attack before it melts in 0.1 seconds", etc.) but hey on the plus side these should be easy enough for everyone to accomplish.

I smiled after I first reviewed the new golden pursuit in game. 25 out of 38 tasks to fully complete is lots of flexibility. Well over 25 of the tasks suit my ability and style of play nicely. A whole month to complete is great. The rewards are nice, but not so 'must have' that I would feel overly bad if I could not complete the event.

Overall, top notch in all regards! Well done! :)

I can't see any problem at all with the activities in this pursuit. A month to complete basic newbie-friendly activities and you get a big old house. Looks perfectly achievable in a couple of days.

I realised I've spent too long in Cyrodiil when I got to the roof of the new house and wanted to place some siege... :p

The first reward doesn't look anything special, the second reward is just some gold, and there's no way I can manage to get the last reward as 19 out of the required 25 is the highest score I could achieve if I put my mind (and time) to it. I'll pass this time, again.

This seems a tad petty considering what the rewards are. None of this is all that hard to finish.

I'd like to say that this GP is actually quite close to what I envisioned when I first heard the announcement that GPs were coming to ESO. I'm kinda hoping they stive to keep them this way.

I think they hit almost all the right notes when compiling a list of tasks this time around.

I used the woodworking table and did all the crafting in my home in a batch, I did writs on two characters in alinor for the quests, I did the dolmens in the zones I needed to have kills in, I did surveys to harvest, I mean this stuff is easy.

Please stop forcing these quests on me.

Seals of endeavours were implemented perfectly. They gently let a player know when one has been completed and can comfortably be completely ignored.

Golden Pursuits on the other hand:
    - the gold text immediately grabs the eye whenever I open that window, distracting me from what I opened the window for
    - gives me unexpected pop-ups that are akin to level up notifications. these are always annoying, but especially when they happen during a time urgent activity.
    - Auto-pinning of individual pursuits -- How is this okay for anyone?

I'm not saying get rid of golden pursuits. I'm saying if you won't make them opt-in, at least let me opt out of all gp notifications.

    Baloney.
The only way it's possible that anyone can only do 19 out of the 38 options is if you're just being stubborn and refuse to do very simple and easy things that take very little time.
Tell me, which 19 items from this list (copied from the helpful post in this thread by @PeacefulAnarchy ) are somehow impossible for you to do?
    1. 5 Quests
    2. 15 Quests
    3. 5 login rewards
    4. 15 login rewards
    5. 5 home visits
    6. 10 home visits
    7. 30 auridon
    8. 30 stromhaven

    35. 50 harvest
    36. craft 50
    37. craft 10 inhome
    38. craft30 in home

None of them require DLC (except maybe the 2 Tales of Tribute ones? Does ToT require DLC?), only 1 requires PVP, and only 1 requires a trial. There are 9 that involve group dungeons, but they're all easy base-game dungeons that anyone who isn't a complete newbie should be able to solo on normal quickly and easily, so it's not like those should give anyone any trouble (and if you can't do them solo just use the group finder, people will be running them). Maybe if you only have 1 character and they already have every single skill line maxed out you can't do the 2 ones to gain skill ranks. Everything else is ridiculously fast and easy to do.

If you're talking about not liking that you're automatically tracking one of the golden pursuits when you log on without having selected it to track yourself... Yeah, I agree with you. I absolutely hate that. Don't add more clutter to my UI! Having the ability to track pursuits like that if you choose to track one is good. Automatically tracking them and cluttering up your UI when you didn't select it is annoying AF, especially when you have a full roster of characters, making it more annoying to go in and untrack it for each individual character.

I think they mean things where the results are multiplied, like food and potions, only count as 1. Otherwise you could just craft 2 poisons (which makes 16 each time) and it'd be done.

What is very simple and easy for one player isn't necessarily so for another player. Both time limitations (like many here I'm spending a lot less time on ESO these days, but if I was playing as much as I was a while ago I'd be spending a lot of the time through May on the PTS), and playstyle preferences account for a decent chunk of the pursuits. I've no interest in clearing multiple dungeons or doing a trial, ToT or BGs. I'm not going through them line by line but I wouldn't get to 25 completed pursuits and while I'm sure there are plenty who will do so, there will be plenty of others who don't.

It looks like a lot at first, but there's a few things to bear in mind. Firstly you have 28 days to complete it, so unless you're going to be away a lot you can space it out.

Secondly and IMO more importantly a lot of the tasks double up:
    collect 15 login rewards
    complete 15 quests
    visit 10 homes
    gain 10 skill ranks
complete 10 Tales of Tribute matches
craft 30 items inside your home
complete 6 dark anchors (they're a kind of incursion)

If you completed those 7 it would complete the 7 lesser versions as well, giving you 14 in total - more than 1/2 way to the total.

Crafting 30 items inside a house also gets you most of the way to crafting 50 items.

In fact if you wanted to complete it with the fewest activities possible a good way to start would be to complete the daily crafting writs inside a house. Do that twice and you've got:
    5 quests completed
    15 quests completed
10 items crafted in a home
20 items crafted in a home
    50 items crafted

It also gives you partial progress towards picking up login rewards and visiting player homes.

Finally and most importantly if you don't think the house is worth it you don't have to do it. I've skipped a few golden pursuits and I can tell you nothing happens if you miss them. I can't even remember what the reward were that I didn't get, but I know I decided it wasn't worth the hassle at the time so I just carried on playing like I normally would.

Edit: Also any visits to any homes count for those two tasks. You can visit one of your homes 10 times, or you can preview homes you don't own and it will count towards the total.

Group content is not required to complete the pursuit, but you'll need to level a skill line to skip those. For anyone who doesn't want to level a skill line, I suggest Fungal Grotto and Spindleclutch on normal. I refuse to visit other players' homes because that's breaking and entering!

Visiting your own houses counts. You can just visit your primary residence 10 times. Also you can only visit the houses of people who allow it, so it isn't breaking and entering.

This is one of the better Golden Pursuits.

I(t could be improved by ditching one of the three PvP item (Or indeed all of the 3 PvP items) and replacing it with some combination of Dark Sacraments or Heists. (And some thing out of Do X daily Endevours, find X Wayshrines, or find X Points of Interest if you are going to be optimally PvP free.)

PvP both Battlegrounds and Tales of Tribute should be separate games.
