This might be the worst golden pursuit so far

What are these pursuits? Do the same specific dungeon 3 times? Kill 30 random enemies in these super specific zones? I thought this was a housing themed golden pursuit what the hell is this?

Where or when did Zos proclaim that the golden pursuit would only contain housing themed tasks?
What would that even look like apart from "Place Furnishing X"...

Also craft x items inside your home means you need to craft those items INDIVIDUALLY. Batch crafting only grants 1/x to that pursuit.

Was the complaint here unironically about gameplay objectives in exchange for a notable home? Like, if the rewards were furnishings, sure, all these objectives seem kind of grindy and out of scope, even for high clout or gold recipe furnishings.

But a whole notable home? Was that part not clear?

I prefer the way you got the psyjic villa, I think there also was another one later, where you got it based on community events.
If xxx were finished, you got a pet, if yyy were finished, a costume, if zzz were finished, a house.
This gave me more choice to play as I like, not doing "a job". I play to relax from my job, not to be stressed even more.

To be fair, you did not need to do much for those events. Everyone knows that the rewards were guaranteed.

For those complaining: You only need to do 25 tasks to unlock the last reward. The house.
Which means there are 13 tasks you can ignore entirely.

    It's a free house + A weather control item

Doesn't seem too grindy to me.

Honestly, almost all of these pursuits seem very easy and not especially time consuming. The "do X group dungeon 3 times" ones are a bit boring, but they're all very easy dungeons that don't take long to run.

I have nothing to complain about. :) I've already snagged the Weather Control just by doing what I normally do, and the rest will come as I do more of that. There will be a bit of a grind here or there along the way, but it is a pursuit, after all. ;)

Worth it for that beautiful house and those interior decorations that it comes with!

If I encountered any player that couldn't easily complete this GP, I'd have to ask them... "What exactly do you DO in ESO?"

Because actually playing the game isn't it.

I don't see any reason to complain. Do 25 tasks from a list of 38, most very easy.

I'm really looking forward to the lovely Grand Gallery of Tamriel as I only use earned houses except for the exquisite Seabloom Villa purchased for $4.99.

And most of those dungeons can be run solo on normal.

The issues in my view are that many of the options aren't going to happen organically, aren't going to necessarily be fun, and can be disruptive to the people trying to do the content normally as people will be rushing the areas to get the kills for it.

For example, I went to do one of the delve ones and I found five + other people sitting waiting for the boss to respawn.

Unimpressed with the "weather control" that barely affects the weather, a sum of gold (whoopee) and a house (no, I haven't seen it) for tasks that seem rather unfun and pointless if all your characters are already maxed out. I'm uninterested in running dungeons for which my sticker book is full, I'm not ever going to play ToT, I'm done with dolmens after that anniversary nonsense, most zones I've already completed, and it seems like grouped content isn't even working correctly (at least on EU servers).

Also, the crime wave event doesn't even tie into this pursuit? Wouldn't it have made more sense to tie the Crime wave event in, like steal X items or pickpocket X number of items, do a Dark Brotherhood or Thieves guild quest, etc?

@ZOS_Kevin there’s some issues with these pursuits. I just crafted 50 potions at once in my house. It completed the “Craft 50 items with any skill” but not the two “Craft # items inside your home” pursuits.

Same logic applies for provisions. However, when I craft one by one, the same item, it does count. I tested this using longfin pasty.

    Server: Ps-na

I’m otherwise enjoying this. Excited for a free home!

Try the woodworking table. I just did that with the grandmaster version and it worked out for both tasks.

I'm already at 10/25 pursuits done, and all I've done is daily writs on a few characters (doing the crafting in my home instead of Vivec City like I normally do), and a few dolmens (in the 3 zones with "Kill 30 Foes in X" pursuits). Yup, this is going to be very easy.

    Agreed.

There are 38 pursuits and 25 are required for the grand reward, so 13 pursuits can be skipped. That's approximately 1/3 of them (38 / 3 = 12.67), so there's quite a bit of leeway as to which pursuits we want to pursue and which we'd rather skip. Of course, we could also go for all 38, for completionism, but we have the option to skip 1/3 according to our preferences.

It looks like all of the dungeons are ones which can be easily soloed on Normal by a lot of players, although I'm sure a lot of players might want to group so they can be completed more quickly, hence it will hopefully be easy for players who can't do them solo to find at least one other player to run them with.
