The great template class competition!

I think subclassing is the perfect way to get eso to a largely classes design but players will always need some direction on what paths to choose so i propose the great template class competition!

this will be an upcoming season once the subclassing system goes online. Zos will monitor what combinations are most popular for each role and pvp in general and when the season is complete the most popular line combinations will be added to a template system for new players starting the game. Note that the legacy class combinations might not even make the list! Other combinations might be way more popular!

i propose 20 template line combinations players can choose at the start of the game each one with a loose name based on the lines chosen.

pve would have 15 template combinations 5 dps, 5 tank 5 healer and pvp would have 5 combinations also.

this will bring us into a new age of eso where you really can choose anything, but templates will exist with descriptions so not to overwhelm players with initial choices.

They are already talking about a meta and BIS skill lines in the PTS forums.
So should be a done deal by the time it goes live.

Your idea is interesting and it would be fun to see that information about the most popular combinations, but people could use the results to help create new build combinations themselves.

yea it doesnt stop you from further modifying your class, it just gives you options at srartup based on how you want to play.
