Where would he/she grew up ?

I have an Imperial who grew up in the West Weald and married a Breton - hence his allegiance to the Second Daggerfall Covenant.
I have a second Imperial who grew up in Gideon (Blackwood) and has many Argonian friends, hence her allegiance with the Ebonheart Pact.

Now I am wondering where my third Imperial who gives his/her allegiance to the First Aldmeri Dominion would have grown up.

Any ideas out there ? Thks in advance for your suggestions.
During the afternoon of Loredas, 6 Sun’s Dawn 2e578 a big piece of Aetherius fell to Nirn. It was the first major piece of Aetherius to fall on Nirn in more than five hundred years. It scattered around the world as millions of shards. It was rapidly documented by Lady Cinnabar of Taneth in her pamphlet Aetherial Fragments that "... when three shards meet, they re-form into a silvery prism by unknown process and confer the power unlocked by the merger to a nearby being." The Order of the Black Worm, commonly known as the Worm Cult, reappeared in Tamriel shortly thereafter and some of its members are avidly searching said shards.
In the last week of First Seed 2e579, an arcane explosion occurred in the Imperial City — a night of storms, and trembling terrain. They named it the "Soulburst". That day Emperor Varen Aquilarios disappeared without a trace. His wife, Clivia Tharn, ascended to the Ruby Throne as Empress Regent under the guidance of the Necromancer Mannimarco. Ushering a time of increased instability within the Empire of Cyrodiil which finally grew into “The Three Banners War”.

Somewhere where the nurses tend to drop babies headfirst into the ground?

Anti-AD joke over, I'd suggest Anvil, a port where there's already a Dominion ship anchored and it's the closest Imperial city to the Summerset Isles.

Raised by a Khajiiti family in the Banderi Trading Post of Malabal Tor. Smack in the middle of original AD territory and even has a wonderful little home very close to the town's wayshrine (Cyrodiilic Jungle House). Or even raised by Imperial parents who lived in that house before dying and passing it on to your character.

The Empire has a strong presence in Elsweyr: the Thirteenth Legion and the Cygnus Irregulars would both be possibilities, for instance. There's at least one Imperial merchant in Alinor I can think of who mentions her family having been there for generations. Lots of possibilities.

If you want them to have lived in/near AD territory then I agree with the suggestion for Anvil (since it's a port city near Summerset), or anywhere along the border between Cyrodiil and Valenwood and Elseweyr. It could even be Leyawiin, which is independent but also a major port right by Elseweyr so it would have a lot of Dominion influence.

For my AD Imperial it was a deliberate choice. He grew up in a tiny farming community in Cyrodiil which was destroyed in the war, but he left long before then to join the army (back when that was still a reasonable choice), travelled all over Tamriel as a soldier and when he got injured and had to retire he picked Summerset to move to as it's one of the more peaceful bits of the continent. These days he's a crafter, but he did get roped back into fighting because some insane cult kidnapped him on the way home from the pub and stole his soul, and that's not the kind of thing you can just ignore. But he got that sorted out, and now lives in the pub so that won't happen again.

Maybe one of the Second Empire Imperial settlements in Valenwood? There's Southpoint, Arenthia and Woodhearth, although the family would probably live in a tree in the latter case. They could also be a Nibenese settler in Rimmen, disillusioned with Euraxia's occupation. Or a descendant of the Akaviri who emigrated to Elsweyr, like the people of Hakoshae.

    *here is one for you*

You are a proud imperial who was sent to defeat the forces of Molakbhal, you travelled far, and your legion decided to push through a deep dark cavern, it would save you supplies and let you reach your destination before the dawn of winter. On your path, an unfortunate cave in forced you and your men to push deeper then any legion has explored.

You ran into a passage older then what you anticipated, it is a ancient path once belonging to the dark brotherhood. Feeling a pair of eyes on you, your unit hurried through the caverns. One moment you see a pair of large peering red eyes staring, before you blink they vanish. Your army lights a torch, as quickly as you do it dies out. You light another, and it dies again. You hear a cackling laughter, you spin your swords of silver, and you noticed a hooded entity standing behind your man.

One flash after another, you hear the scream of crimson, and the gurgling of blood, your commander is lifted into the air, a river of blood dragging his lifeless body into the air, screaming blood murder. One by one your team mates die, your mind is unable to fight, as your stunned by magicka. Your feet lifted into the air, and you are dragged, your head bouncing against the rocks, and then a thud your unconcious.

You wake up in daggerfall, a petite women wearing a dark hood is smiling at you, your eyes focus on her, blood pools at her feet, her eyes black as obsidian. She lifts her finger to her lips, and whispers, shhhh. You wake up floating in the air, your blood being drained from your body. You found the vampires, but not the way you wanted. You feel the life drained from you, and the world goes entirely black.

You hear the vampire whisper, shhh, welcome home imperial, now you will be one of us, now and forever.* Your story begins.

lol i put more effort into this then bathesda in all of their writing, maybe they should hire me as a writer for ESO6

Could have them a criminal who was exiled from most human kingdoms for crimes against humanity, but not against elves, so the elven kingdoms would welcome them and their man slaying ways.
Or they weren't a criminal, but were exiled anyway.
Or their father was an altmer or bosmer.

My Necromancer grew up in the IC, his allegiance is with the Empire, an empire where imperials rule, not daedra, cultists or any of the alliances. With the current state of the empire there is little true imperials can do on their own, so the pragmatic choice is to support one of the alliances, to drive back the other invaders and the daedra.

The Dominion is the choice that is stable enough to have a chance to win the war, and at the same time, once it's done its part, can be easily collapsed just by removing Ayrenn.

Maybe in the Imperial City itself. In a nutshell (I don't want to fill in too many details since it's your character), the daedra destroyed your home and made you a refugee. You escaped the city and wandered for a day or two, by chance running into a group of AD soldiers, scouts from the recently established base camp at the Elsweyr border. They agree to delay their mission and help you reach the nearest relatively safe town (presumably Vlastarus), also leaving you some provisions and whatever else they could spare to let you get back on your feet. You decide that the "knife-ears" aren't as bad as you were always told, and consider returning the favour by joining the army, as doing so lets you apply for a free residence permit anywhere in AD territory.

Player houses Cyrodilic Jungle House and Strident Springs show Imperial residents live in Malabal Tor and Reapers March. You would have either inherited the house or bought it to be near your family and friends.

Fits right in with one of the IC dailies being "rescue Imperial citizens from the Daedra in the Arena District."

The Imperial City. They became loyal to Aldmeri Dominion after secretly following the Cygnus Irregulars to Rimmen to try to join their ranks as a spy. However, when your character saw Prefect Calo's resistance to Euraxia, your Imperial decided to help Khamira. After aiding Calo, you decide that Khamira is going to need more help than Calo's Irregulars can offer after all. And you're just the person for the job. You can start in Elsweyr and play through AD afterwards. Make your homebase the Sugar Bowl Suite.

Time line would need to be longer but would work. Tamriel is not a small place even though we can cross large sections of it in a matter of minutes in game. Daggerfall to Necrom is probably teetering on 2,000 miles in canon. For either AD Scouts or a civilian on foot to move far enough to encounter each other after the Imperial City is sacked theyd need to go pretty damn far.

Personally Id say Bravil fits better since it is currently under AD rule in game and likely a lot of civilians would have been evacuated deeper into AD territory to make way for the Alliances Army and equipment.

Nice, I'd quite forgotten about that one. It could be one of those citizens who decided to leave with the alliance soldiers instead of Valga.

Yes, I thought it might be a bit of a stretch. Maybe the planemeld caused temporal distortions around the IC. We know from Deadlands dlc that time passes differently in daedric planes, so maybe a day in the IC is a week or longer for the rest of Tamriel. It does kind of seem like that in-game, though that could be just because IC hasn't been updated much, if at all.
