I wasn't a fan of them before, but they had at least some point when classes were as they are.
But with Subclassing coming, why restrictions are not getting removed?
You can have "Elementalist" build that devs showcase, utilizing Storm, Fire and Frost magic from 3 classes, yet you can wear only Sorcerer outfit on this char? Why? If you want to wear Warden's outfit, you'll have to make absolutely identical mechanical character and the only restriction for outfit would be that first selected class? Isn't it's time to make them unrestricted?

No let's be real, they never had a point, only the set items themselves make sense to be restricted.
Style is personal and doesn't need to be representative of any class in particular (think of all of the outfits that don't fit, like pirate stuff, carnival stuff and so on), this is an arbitrary decision on cosmetics, that makes as much sense as personality running animations not applying correctly if your speed is too high (another pet peeve of mine).4 -

I agree, but any point they could've came up with before now wouldn't make any sense at all. It should be removed0 -
TempestM✭✭✭Restriction should have never been applied yes, i want that nb mask on my warden.
It's so weird that they would put up grindable style that many people would want, and would be willing farm IA for it, but then restricted it to only 1/6 classes. What's it good for if less people would be engaged in content because they can't use this cosmetic it on their other class
And now you Warden could use Assassination or Shadow to be a stealth ganker like NB yet a mask is a step too far for devs O_o1
