They actually have. Right now it's still in very early development and they're going to prioritize making it opt-in (Rich's words, they want to make it opt-in so they're going to try their best to make it so), but they really don't have much else to say because right now it's so early on in the development phase.We are still working on this. As of right now, the goal is to still have this out during the content pass timeline. But if that changes, we will update once we have a clear picture if anything changes.
Totally get it. Understand where you are coming from. Just want to clarify here that we have a team dedicated to overland, so it is getting the focus and time needed. This is an important feature and we want to make sure this is done correctly. So there is a team dedicated to this. Some of the features that you are seeing today have been in the works for a bit. So that is why you are seeing them today. We hope to have more info in the future to share about overland.

Appreciate the update, I must have missed that. An opt-in system sounds like the best solution if they can pull it off for those who find the difficulty just fine today.
Has there been any consideration among the team about going over the part 2 Q&A again... at least a couple questions weren't understood or answered inaccurately (Decimus question about team shuffling was answered as if the idea of team shuffling meant something else) and my question about MMR was answered innacurately saying that MMR resets are tied to the leaderboard (even though leaderboard resets weekly, and Brian has been very clear about MMR not being related to medal score). Also the idea that the resets make it easier for people to climb leaderboard makes no sense (it is harder for a new player to get points if they mismatched with more experienced players). Both of these points were brought up in the replies but I don't believe Decimus or myself ever got a response about them.
