It's happening on PC as well with audio. Delays or not playing sound at all sometimes - whether battle effects or when firing powers.

I'm on PC using the official launcher, so afaik there isn't a cache or anything to "clear" like there is on Steam and consoles. I have ran the launcher's repair several times but that has not fixed the audio delay.

Yes, I went through all of them. I also opened a ticket with support but it doesn't lead to anything. The problems have been since the last update.

I’ve been experiencing the same issue with audio lagging and cutting out at times. It’s most often with the sound effects from skills when in combat. Opened a couple of tickets but troubleshooting was no help.

I’m on PS5 and it started around June last year with Gold Road. Never had the problem in the years prior on ESO.

I've also experienced an "audio lag" since the last update, that sounds exactly what you've described. It happens mostly when I've changed zones, when the sound seems to catch up after 3-5 seconds. It also happens during combat heavy instances (raids or dungeons) when the sound from my skill cast completely disappear for 3-5 seconds, and then suddenly catches up afterward. It also seems to happen, occasionally, when I'm deconstructing things or putting items in my bank from my inventory bag. Just like the other examples, the sound disappears, then catches up afterward.

However, I also noticed, although I'm not sure if it's related to the aforementioned audio issue, of my toon being randomly invisible for a second or two when I've changed zones, which occurs mostly, when I "PTE" from a raid wipe. However, it has also happened when I've used a wayshrine from one zone to another.

I play both on the NA and EU servers and experience this issue on both formats. FWIW, I have a NVDIA 4090 GPU laptop and a Windows 11 OS. All my software, drivers, and peripherals are updated. Several group members that I raid with have also stated they are experiencing this issue.

To be honest, I'm not sure if it's a game issue all by itself, or if it's an issue with an update (audio, gpu, cpu, or otherwise), but I will follow this thread and hope someone that is smarter than me figures this out, because it's extremely annoying haha.
