What is this strange Creature?

I ran into a very strange looking creature on a rock at the Vivec City crafting area. It's name is Rogue and it looks like it's part Rabbit and part Rat and part I don't know what! Whatever it is I want it as a pet!

And there are plenty of variations you can have as pets. There is literally one available right now in the Ragebound crates for 16 gems / 1,000 seals, the Rimmen Jerboa.

Given how much time you two have put into ESO, I don't understand how you don't know this. Granted - I've never noticed this one, but there are plenty hopping around various world zones in ESO, and one of the pets was included during the release of Elsweyr.

Yup, and there seem to be several non combat pets (recolors) available in ESO: Alabaster Jerboa, Ashen Scar Jerboa, Orcrest Jerboa, Rimmen Jerboa, and Ringtail Jerboa.

Oh, I knew it was a jerboa. In fact, I titled the thread "A jerboa named Rogue" (and included something else that seemed odd to me, don't know what now). I just wanted to know why it was named Rogue and sitting on a stump in Vivec. I've got several of the pets on my accounts.

I don't notice little animals out in the world. This one is different anyway. It is named Rogue and is sitting on a rock at the Vivec City crafting area. I run 7 characters through there every day and I never noticed it before.

We've had jerboas here where I live. They're at least not as invasive as kangaroo rats (and they're cuter because not quite as large), but boy do they make a noise on our decks at night! My cats used to love them to death.... nope, that's not a joke. Since I no longer have cats (don't ask why, it's a HUGE sadness to me), the jerboas and kangaroo rats are rather out of control!

I found info about this particular one at Vivec City. I wonder if it only appears occasionally because I run past that rock multiple times a day and I don't remember it.

If you're ever in the EP Northern Morrowind base, there's a golden retriever named Link that you can pet

Link gets all the pets.

Where to get them:
-The Alabaster Jerboa is in the Nightfall crates.

I don't think I ever noticed this little guy. He must be someone's pet, or perhaps a mercenary who is trapped in jerboa form.

Thanks for all the information on where to find these!

The Rimmen Jerboa is currently available for 1000 Seals of Endeavor. We can also buy it for 16 Crown Gems.

Since they are in crates I assume the others will sometimes be available for Seals like this one was, so I'll keep an eye out for them.
