If Spec Bow can proc twice in a row, so should Leap, DB, Frags, Blastbones, Crescent Sweep, etc

And while we're at it, let's allow the second Shalks proc to happen 1 second after the first. Surely since Spec Bow hits harder than all of these abilities and is able to proc twice, there shouldn't be any issue with these skills proccing twice in a row, right?

Am I getting the point across? Back to back Merciless is so ridiculously powerful. The skill hits harder than any other skill in the game, including ultimates, and you not only buffed the damage (if at 10 stacks), but now it's effectively a double-barreled shotgun. If this doesn't get changed, you will see every single player in PvP taking Assassination.

Merciless is already the hardest hitting non-Ultimate in the game, and now we can pop two in a row?!

It's almost a straight up statement that someone in charge doesn't really play PvP very often (or has exclusively played NB

Besides, iirc, the stacks reset after leaving combat, right? So getting ganked with 10 stacks is ... unlikely.
And since you have access to all the possible class heals too, I think you'll be fine. You just have to adopt your class skill lines as well.

My ulti also only generates in combat so I should get back to back bonks and dawnys too right? I mean, balance is balance.

This is a new level of absurd. The fact that we are talking about this because it's in the patch notes... the very same patch notes that finally nerfed ward... is incredibly disheartening. It further erodes my confidence in their ability to mKe positive and nondusruptive changes to the game.

They really do not know what pvp is like. How can this be?

Tbh I am rather worried about the fact that with subclassing system people will just pick "DPS" trees from 3 different classes and it will lead to hyper broken one dimensional unbalanced builds. It will further push min-maxing limits and we will have either one-shot gank builds or unkillable tank build while "normal" clean class builds will be left in the dust. Like for real. Merciless right now on its own on PTS is not something that I would consider broken/OP. But what happens when you add sorc overload to the mix + a bunch of procs ?

Yeah, it is those 2 - 3 class combos that will be game breaking, as those skills were never design to operate as combos, as they were assigned to different classes.

Actually, no. The stacks do not fall off outside of combat, because they decided Nightblade gets to be special.

Arguing that they don't need to make smart changes because balance is already bad is a bad faith argument.

Its not just the hardest hitting non-ult ability, it's the hardest hitting single instance of damage ability including ultimates. It has a higher tooltip than Leap, DB, Meteor, Crescent, Incap, Overload, and Berserker Strike. I'm pretty sure it even has a higher tooltip than Ele Explosion (although its kind of hard to find the coefficient for this one), and Ele Explosion has a 2 second cast time.
