Just played the prologue quest for Solstice. Loved it. Two questions about the voice acting:

Just played the prologue quest for Solstice. Loved it. Two questions about the voice acting:
- Is Skordo played by the same guy? I noticed a change in the direction he took with the performance. Not unpleasant, but interesting.
- Has Vanus been recast? He's very close to the original performance, but I know another of the same voice actor's characters, Verandis Ravenwatch, was recast.

I know for a fact that Gabrielle Benele is still voiced by Tara Strong, with the same direction. It has been a whole decade, and certain peoples' voices can potentially change even without a change in direction. As far as I know, all the main characters are still voiced by the original actors. One possible explanation why they killed Merric off is because they couldn't rehire Christopher Corey Smith for the role, but maybe they wanted to kill him off for other reasons.1

✭Vanus is the same, I recognize Taliesin Jaffe's voice anywhere, and I can just about guarantee that Andrew Kishino still voices Skordo, though I just assume people forgot what his voice was like hence why they say Skordo sounds different."Best" healer PC/NA1 -

✭✭✭Skordo is definitely different. He sounds horrid, and the writing doesn't help.
Gabriele sounds the same to me.1
