This is definitely a problem with the base game, but from what I remember playing Murkmire, my Argonian's race absolutely was acknowledged quite a lot throughout the story. I remember being able to ask something along the lines of "how can I find my Hist tree" or "can I reconnect with my Hist" when it came upI'd be happy though if the other Argonians at least RECOGNIZE you as such and treat you differently than the other races. It kind of takes you out of it when they treat you like any other race. That's the problem with ALL of the races though honestly. If you play as an Orc, you have Orcs (both city and stronghold Orcs) treat you like a separate race and even have to explain Orcish cultures or ways to your Orc character (as though you're not Orc yourself). Khajiit have the moon phases (how it affects their form) explained to them, ect. I wish they acknowledged the player character's race and reacted or acted accordingly like in the other games...it'd definitely help with the immersion. It'd go a LONG way for sure.
