companions and combat pets must bash when needed

I was testing out some companions this week, and took them to fight some WBs, mainly just standing back to watch them do their thing. I've noticed that they will occasionally bash if they're standing right next to the boss, but it doesn't happen very often. And with more difficult content, like if I'm being pinned, there's almost zero chance they'll be available to bash, because there are usually adds drawing them away from the boss. Perhaps there needs to be a way to prioritise bashing when the player is being CC'd.

I would like Companions using synergies when you are not in a group. Makes something like Nova usable in solo, for example. And a bunch other effects.

You can use Soul burst with the pull morph and interrupt script to do these things. I think precognition ulti from Psijic might also work.

So fwiw i can tank through crimson mother as she seems to draw 25k health. so long as i keep my tank self healed it's not an issue. The ground cast healing of templar along with orbs can def heal you through the blood sucking phase but all healer don't have that so again you need high health healer and some effective hot. and so for those that dont have either of those two it's the soulburst thingy or precognition which others suggested.

The thing about this is that you can’t cast it when you’re already trapped. If you can see it coming, you can cast it and you get 6 seconds of immunity, but you need to be able to hit it before you get trapped.

Precognition is better because it can be cast while you’re trapped. You do need to double-bar it to make sure you’re on the right bar when you get hit (you can’t barswap while trapped), but then you get right out of it.

Not always. Sometimes companion tanks seem to be bugged and just stands there.
Eg: every single time I went to the Theater of War stage (IA), my companion tank never interrupts Aramril (boss) when she performs the Seeking Runescrawl attack (Aramril lift her arm upwards, channeling an attack which launches Runeblades to targets at an increasing speed. You have to interrupt this attack to stop it)

I do see Bastian interrupt while he is tanking for me.

I know you can direct companions by using a bunch of key presses but I’m usually too busy to do that. I wish he would automatically attack the boss first instead of just going for some small add over in the corner.
