I cant be the only one but can the in game friends list function in a similar to the guild rosters so you can see there character name location level, class and alliance

My friends list already shows Player Status, Alliance, UserID, Location, Class and Level. In fact, it's almost identical to the Guild Roster.

The friends list I see has nothing on it but friends names. I agree it’s sort of silly and virtually useless.

So console doesn't see a Friends list like we do on PC?

I don't understand why, especially if the guild roster shows all that.

Not an add-on. I disabled all of them just to be sure and checked it again, and it still looks like the screenshot I posted above.

At this point, it sounds like console ui and settings just need updated to be in line with pc in general. I’m continuously surprised by what console doesn’t have (like a lack of bloom setting…).

ZOS drops the ball on a lot of little things like this for console players. I Just shrug my shoulders causes it séems they are happy with it. Don't think anyone plays on consoles anymore or ever really did at all beyond just a little to say they did it

Rather then spend the time to make it better on console they just do the bear minimal to get by. They have virtually stopped any QOL updates that really affected consoles at all. Why I wish I could transfer to PC, but after years of playing I am not starting over.

Being a console player is a bit like being the proverbial “redheaded stepchild” of this game. ZOS hasn’t provided as much support for those of us stuck on one of these platforms.

Not sure what you mean by this. There are many console players. It just so happens that many of us would prefer to move off of these platforms which tend to get less attention from ZOS.

i also play eso on console (Playstation) and we do have the ability to see someone's current character, race, class, and location.

We just have to click on their name in the friends list and it only works when they are online.

whilst it would be nice for the friends list to look the same as Guild Rosters, it does have the same kinda info technically

console user interface is also used by people on PC if they use Accessibility Mode (i do that when i play on PC) and gamepad mode too.
So the friends list on consoles being improved would also help some PC players.

A lot of people do actually play on consoles just like PC (might be less in total but it isn't empty).

They have not "virtually stopped any QOL updates that really affected consoles at all" as updates to the game also apply to us, there's very few pc exclusive changes.
And we are getting add-on support with update 45 for PS5 and Xbox series X/S, which is pretty huge.

I think the friends list used to have more information on it at some point back in time. I’m not sure why it might have been changed.

This is something I'm very curious about. I see PC footage of things like menus, character creation etc and they look very different (much better) than console. Just returning after a 4 year break and everything looks exactly the same as when I left and pretty much the same as when I started in 17.

With the possibility of addons coming to console, I wonder how the UI windows they have would work for us. Currently the UI takes up the whole screen, where on PC it is a little window that they can move around. It will be interesting to see.
