Here's how I think Class Mastery should be adapted for Werewolf Grimoires

Werewolf skills can only be used while transformed, and while transformed, you can't use your Class abilities — which may cause some problems with certain Class Mastery effects. Up to this point, every Grimoire has given players the ability to use the Class Mastery Signature Script, and we can reasonably assume that ZOS will continue to add new Grimoires to the Scribing system as time goes on, adding Grimoires to skill lines which have no Scribing abilities like Vampire, Werewolf, Undaunted, and Psijic Order.

The effect of Class Mastery doesn't usually change between Grimoires, but it can change, as evidenced by the different description when Class Mastery is applied to Banner Bearer (bottom image):

Just for reference, here's what each one looks like:

There are some problematic ones. For instance, Templar Werewolves will never be able to cast Class abilities, so they cannot benefit from Sacred Ground while transformed. Arcanist Werewolves would benefit from some passives like Healing Tides which they couldn't before, but Crux still cannot be consumed with Werewolf abilities, even if a Werewolf Grimoire would allow them to create Crux.

However, some of these would be fantastic for Werewolf. Necromancer Werewolves could create a corpse which they can Devour to restore Health and transformation time. Sorcerer Werewolves would have a different bonus depending on whether they're a Pack Leader (have pets) or a Werewolf Berserker (do not have pets).

So, since a Werewolf Grimoire can only be used in Werewolf form (since it would be a Scribed Werewolf ability) and the Class Mastery effect can change depending on the Grimoire (and we're likely to get a Werewolf Grimoire at all) here's how I would adapt Class Mastery when used on Werewolf Grimoires:

I denoted the ones I modified with a werewolf icon. Here's my explanation:
  • Sorcerer: Werewolf's only pets while transformed come from the Pack Leader morph. While the description doesn't have to change here, I think it would do well for clarity and it would add a bit of roleplay flavor text.
  • Templar: Werewolf cannot cast a skill which would give them Sacred Ground. So, the +50% bonus should just be baked into the Class Mastery.
  • Arcanist: Werewolf cannot generate or consume Crux. So, the Class Mastery should both generate and consume Crux. This would allow Arcanist Werewolf to benefit from the following Class passives they couldn't before:

Thank you for reading this post. I'm really looking forward to the day that Werewolf gets its own Grimoire, and I hope these ideas could help the Scribing team tackle the shortcomings of the current Class Mastery design in regards to Werewolf's limited toolkit.

Werewolf Should be Allowed to Sneak
Please give us Werewolf Skill Styles (for customizing our fur color), Grimoires/Scribing skills (to fill in the holes in our builds), and Companions (to transform with).

Werewolf is not a class and this obviously not get a class mastery, just like on that poll you made in general where +80% voted that it isn't

I could see it and vampire getting a scribed skill but it shouldn't get a class mastery cauz' it ain't a class bruh

This is unrelated to that other thread.

To say that Werewolf Grimoires shouldn't be able to use Class Mastery Signature Scripts because the skill line isn't a Class skill line doesn't make sense — none of the Grimoires so far have been for Class skill lines, yet they all can use Class Mastery.

Class Mastery is intended to make your Scribing abilities play into the identity of your Class despite not being Class abilities. That's why we probably won't get Grimoires for Class skill lines.

I think there may have been some confusion here.

I am not asking for Werewolf to get their own Class Mastery — I'm asking for certain Class Mastery effects to be slightly tweaked when applied to Werewolf Grimoires.

Werewolf will likely get their own ""Class Mastery"" from the Wayfarer's Mastery Signature Script, which is intended to play into the effects and mechanics of that Grimoire's skill line.

Again, I do not claim that Werewolf is a Class. There's a reason I didn't vote on my poll. I just believe that since some Class Mastery effects won't work if you could have them in Werewolf form, they should be tweaked slightly the way Class Mastery is noticeably different on Banner Bearer compared to the other Grimoires.
