Rebellicious is an European gaming community for older gamers, created in 2016 and based in Amsterdam. This laid-back, English-speaking collective welcomes MMORPG players from their forties to their nineties and beyond who understand that real life comes first.
What makes us special is our simple approach: play when you can, play what you like, and play it your way. We're looking for gamers who embrace the community as their virtual home and are motivated to stick around for the long haul. We have an age requirement of 40+ but no level requirement—both new and experienced players are welcome.
Your Gaming Path, Your Choice
Whether you dedicate yourself to mastering a single game all year or enjoy hopping between multiple virtual worlds, both approaches find a home here. Our dedicated single-game players often become valuable mentors, while our game-hoppers bring fresh perspectives and cross-game insights.
Guild Independence
Members receive guild permissions to use buffs, pick up and turn in quests, and access everything needed for an independent gaming experience without putting the guild at risk.
Linux Gaming
We focus on MMORPGs that work smoothly on Linux and recommend Bazzite as our distribution of choice. Need help switching? Our Linux forum on our website has experienced members ready to assist. We also have dedicated forums for Meshcore and for EU-based software and privacy discussions.
We Escaped the Data Mines
We've left Discord and moved to our own independent community platform. No data mining, no corporate nonsense, no handing over government-issued IDs to keep chatting about video games. No, just us running our own show. We created a social website on our private server with an activity wall, forums, profile, private messaging. We also host our own Mumble Voice Chat and Internet Relay Chat (IRC) rooms.
