Same exact thing just happened to me on PC-EU, trying to switch to PC-NA. 3rd time this weekend, and it always takes at least an hour or two to clear up. Until it happens again...
EDIT: 4 times.

No one in my guild can login on the NA nor the EU server right now, we had a VRGHM prog that no one can make. Please help us ZOS, the annual sacrifice to the 6 mega servers must be made or perhaps we have angered the ESO spirits?!

PC/NA has a 1 second log in queue that actually never ends... been waiting for a while now.

Friends who didn't log out for dinner are still online.

But don't log out!

They just need to shut the game down until they can make it work. Every single event is plagued with issues, people crashing for no apparent reason, wait an hour to get into Cyrodiil only to disconnect at the first large fight they encounter. It's time. Shut it down until it's fixed

I’m sorry you seem to be experiencing this. However, many of us are not having these problems and would be disappointed with them shutting down the game for this.

I’m sorry you seem to be experiencing this. However, many of us are not having these problems and would be disappointed with them shutting down the game for this.

I mean..... there's a 117 page thread full of people experiencing a game that doesn't work.
