Adding Bravil when?

It's been on the map since forever and inaccessible.

EP gets Cheydinhal, DC gets Chorrol. AD has no non-capturable towns.

We want Bravil!

I'd rather they (Bravil and Cheydinhal) be explorable non-PvP zones. Especially Bravil with their ties to the Dark Brotherhood (Lucky Old Lady statue and played a big part in the Oblivion game). They're such memorable zones much like Leyawiin, Kvatch and Anvil. I'd LOVE to explore Bravil and Cheydinhal (in non-hostile settings) once more. Just like I hope they make the rest of Skyrim available.

I kind of wish they had a non-PvP (without getting rid of the PvP zones) version of Cyrodiil and the Imperial City for those who just want to explore it in a relaxed setting like the other areas or zones.

probably when the Northeast Nibenay zone gets added, north of Blackwood and east of Cyrodiil.

i believe it's the only big Cyrodiil city left so logically it would be the major city in a Nibenay Valley zone.

We are also missing Mir Corrup, which is a city that has a resort aspect, hot springs included, with a lot of nobles. It has not appeared in any game yet of some reason, and is supposed to be somewhere inland in the Nibenay. The long stretch of nothingness, city or settlement wise, between Leyawiin and Cropsford along with Cheydinhall on the right side of Niben River is a perfect and logical spot for it to be.

Lucky Old Lady is/was/will be in Bravil. Would be cool if it was part of the 2nd Era, though.

Ah, you're right! I fixed my comment. Yeah, it'd be really cool if they did something with the 'Lucky Old Lady.' It said she existed sometime during 2nd era, I don't know if they specify the year. It'd be a REALLY cool quest or story especially if they want to continue with both the Thieves Guild and the Dark Brotherhood.

I got it confused with Cheyndihal as that was where the Sanctuary was in Oblivion it was also where Cicero was located before coming to Skyrim (Falkreath).

Yeah, I'm over it as well from a story perspective. It's kind of been played out and gotten stale. There's not really anything more they can do with it. I kind of wonder if they should just make the Imperial City and Cyrodiil normal zones and have a new PvP system. The only issue though is the base-game revolves around the Three Banner War along with the Planemeld...

I imagine Bravil in a PvE zone would be heavily militarized, likely under control of the Aldmeri Dominion to it's close proximity to the PvP area, could be interesting and even have loose laws like Fargrave, the outside of the City would be full of AD Camps, they would have dialogue there that is different based on your alliance, friendly dialogue if your AD but somewhat hostile dialogue if your DC or EP where they said they had made a fragile alliance with the Count that they would not attack travelers to Bravil.

Completely agree about possibly seeing a new area with Bravil, also would be nice if they put that weird door in there in the middle of Niben too, as I want to go exploring that sometime....I miss the mushrooms and butterflies.

Agreed. This story just sort of fizzled out. After ten years, that it’s basically been nothing but background noise as other events occur and take precedence adds to the feeling that the war is just window dressing. It doesn’t help that the apparent decade of it being de-emphasized has contributed to this sentiment. Some forward motion in the “main” plot, along with moving the timeline ahead in ways players can see, would make this feel more meaningful. As is, things often feel like they’re all happening more or less simultaneously—this even if one follows the chapters in the order in which they were released.

Yeah, everything taking place in ONE year is weird (and not very believable to be honest, lol). I think they should start moving forward rather than keep everything static or trapped in some weird Time Loop. It would open up more options for DLC or story content. Get away from the whole 'Three Banner War' and 'Planemeld' thing since it's been pushed into the background anyway...

On top of all of that the Ebonheart Pact and the Daggerfall Covenant never made sense...

What is more is the Three Banners War seems kind of insignificant compared to the events of the most recent chapters.

What is a war compared to a Daedric Prince resetting the timeline?

Right? The Daedric threats (there were at least FOUR different threats) were MUCH more important, and the three alliance leaders were STILL fighting over a chair, lol. Do any of them even deserve to win at this point? Like, "hey kids the world's ending...again."
Aliance leaders, "Give me the chair!" As if that will magically solve everything...

End of the world, changing reality, changing fate...chair. Hmmm that's a hard decision, truly...

    This is what I think of every time the Three Banners (leaders included) fight;

Meanwhile the remains of Cyrodiil awkwardly stand there staring while suffering. We have just lost a lot of our people, leadership, and capital to endless horrors, so while trying to survive and take back/rescue what we can, you all come rushing in and fight eachother over what we have left with us in the crossfire, thanks. How about focusing on the daedra?

A lot of times I wish my imperial characters could choose a fourth or unaligned faction option.

Makes sense, doesn't it? Our characters do ALL the work when the three alliance leaders can't even be in the same room together without trying to kill each other or bickering. High Isle showed that...

If I had a choice, I wouldn't choose ANY of the three factions either, lol. I don't even think people care about the Three Banners at this point. If there has to be PvP maybe make it the Dawnguard vs Vampires and Werewolves. The Dawnguard would also fight against any Daedra incursion naturally so it could tie-in with ANY Daedric threat. I think that'd make more sense.

As an AD main Bravil is next to the scroll temple gate, it looks like you can only access it from inside the gate but you could have an ferry but it would be much better defended than the other two towns.

They can just throw the PvP into an Oblivion Realm, like Maelstrom getting an expansion.

We could get this entire new, or several new, PvE story arcs about rebuilding Cyrodiil and the Empire coming back.

What I really want is for Bravil, "Cyrodiil's cloaca" in the Third Era, to actually be a thriving trade center in the Second Era. Competent government, a thriving arts scene, clean and safe streets, etc.

I guess I just really want something (other than Vivec City) that existed a thousand years in the past to actually be different a thousand years in the past. And the idea that Bravil has been an urban disaster consistently for all this time is borderline silly. Also, the idea of Bravil thriving just plain amuses me.

I know it won't happen, but I'm allowed to dream.
