This pissed me off so much!! I only had 1 pursuit left but got screwed out of it because of maintenance. I don't understand what the logic is in having a maintenance the LAST DAY of an event! For the love of God, atleast give us a chance to finish up what we were doing!

I'm never bothering with an event again.

What event? GP are not an event. And was active for 12 days.
Maintenance WAS in one day between mini-event and today PvP event. And today starting new GP.

They started maintenance 6 hours before event end time. I call Golden Pursuit an event because that's what it is. ZOS shouldn't announce a specific time period if they're not going to honour it. Since they already knew that it would be cut short, MAKE AN IN-GAME STATEMENT ABOUT IT!

Although I got mine done several days to a week before the pursuits were slated to end, and I saw the announcement in the forums a week ago about the maintenance, it would definitely be great if the in-game event timers and announcements would reflect the actual time that something is going to end-- including if it's going to be cut short by maintenance-- otherwise when players see the in-game "time remaining" numbers it will look like they've got more time than they actually do.
I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!

With this in mind, we recommend those participating in the "Love Calls from Tamriel" Golden Pursuit, to plan your time accordingly to complete the pursuit before the maintenance time starts. We will not be able to extend the Golden Pursuit (we have a new Golden Pursuit launching the next day, get excited!), and we don't want you missing out on the Dibella’s Exaltation outfit style.

Thank you for your patience and good luck with your Golden Pursuits!

... So... Well... What am I missing here? It's been 2 days since the Love Calls from Tamriel ended, and I don't see the new Golden Pursuit. ... That is... I don't see the reason the last one couldn't have been extended for people who don't check the maintenance announcements on forums.

The event lasted 2 weeks and required 12 of 15 tasks. The maintenance affected the last 6 hours of a 14 day run, leaving more than suitable time to complete it. If a player chooses to ignore the announcements here on the forums as well as in the launcher when you fired up the game, then I'm sorry but that's pretty much on the player for not scheduling accordingly.

the news server bot that some of the guilds have is super helpful. if your guild doesn't have this in their discord server you should see if they will get one. most have it set up in its own little channel so that's all that is there. it posts the endeavors and dungeon dailies also. when there are important threads on the forums, it will put that there too. that's where i saw the announcement. i had already completed mine, but it was nice to have the info so i could warn friends and guildmates. i even helped a random stranger i met in zone chat last night struggling to get theirs done before maintenance, so i ran them through the archive

On the day before the maintenance I had the good fortune to get to assist a new guildie in this way too for their GP who had never been in the IA. We went as far as 2/3/2 because they had the Fabled daily, and then a few more stages so I could get a marauder for my daily, and a good time was had by all. It was really nice to introduce the IA to somebody that hadn’t never tried it before. 🙂

Am.. Just because everything starting at exact time? So new GP started with new event 25 minutes ago?
And maybe GP can't end and start with a same day (I'm just guessing because the GP are new and have always been within a large range of each other)?
Still... there was 12 days for 12/15 tasks. Some guildmates had it after two/three days ...

Start working on the pursuits the day they become active and don't wait until the last minute.

I'm noticing that some of you that reply have a lot of free time...unlike some of us. It's so obnoxious to tell someone to adjust their life to a game.

No less obnoxious than to crudely rant about a situation for which we were given ample warning.

I am working man, with two children what have time for ESO only after they went sleep and if not at work. So about 2 - 3 hours a day. And I do a job that doesn't have the luxury of regular hours like an office (so different shifts of varying lengths throughout the week), and I don't even have a home-office because my job doesn't have that. So I learned time-management. Because there's no way to arrange it to be whole day in the game, I sometimes lose some of the daily reward from not getting into the game. So when it comes to weekly endeavors or GP, I start right away to finish them.

And in the end, it's just a game ;)

QFT. I will procrastinate on a lot of things when I can, but if it is something important to me, I prioritize it and get it out of the way even if it is “just” something in a game. 🙂
