@NotaDaedraWorshipper Ah okay. The different vampire strains aren't really explored or explained well in this game (which I think they should as you'll encounter more than one strain in this game, since you travel all across Tamriel). So, it's hard to differentiate between the different strains. Especially when they ALL look the same...

I would be totally fine with a 'mortal' skin. I would also love more skins to match other strains! That'd be really cool for roleplay. It'd add a much-needed variety for vampires! Maybe they could do something similar for Werewolves in order to give them more colors or something.

Same goes for werebeasts really. We mainly see werewolves and players can only be werewolves, despite ESO taking place all over Tamriel and there are several other forms of werebeasts. Such as, werebear (most common around Skyrim), wereboar (most common around High Isle and Hammerfell), werecrocodile (Black Marsh), werelion (Elsweyr), werebat and werevulture (Valenwood). Wereshark is mentioned, but that seems to be more of a myth or joke. An npc in Marsh of Sacrifice says he is a werebear but we don't see that, and there are some enemies that are called werebat but they also just use the same model as the giant bats.

The werewolf skill is treated even worse than the Vampire one is, there's no variety at all and you only get one old model with 2 colours that depend on skill morph. 3 colours if you don't morph.
A change definitely shouldn't be some Halloween pack or any pack, it should just be an update because it needs one.

And yes, we do meet several strains of vampires. Like the ones in Greymoor are not part of Lamae's. Verandis is not either. Neither are the khajiit vampires of the Hollowfang clan in Moongrave Fane etc. We even meet some Volkihar in Eastmarch, who of course also use the same vampire look as everyone else, and not the look they have in TES V. Which wouldn't be that much different, mainly changing the eyes and their colours. They all also got unique abilities and traits, like Volkihar is supposed to be able to travel through ice, but not even TES V showed any of that.
[Lie] Of course! I don't even worship Daedra!

Yeah, this game would be the perfect opportunity to introduce more were-types (as well as making them playable) for sure!

I also agree about the Werewolves. The Werewolf models REALLY could use an update/overhaul. And yeah, I'd prefer the updates or overhauls (for both Werewolves and Vampires) be included in base-game. I was really hoping they would have done so with Greymoor...it's something that needs done and has been asked for, for a while now...

I like the idea of a “mortal skin” instead of a toggle to hide vampirism because it just sounds simpler.

Also, I know already voiced this same opinion. But I do want to add, I think this should be earnable in-game rather than a shop item. I'd also like to see both the vamp and werewolf skill lines get some balance updates, vamp especially.
