Cyrodiil keep house

I have been wondering how it would look having a Cyrodiil keep as a player house. It's location could be somewhere that resembles Cyrodiil such as Blackwood. It would include all the towers and walls (obviously) as well as a couple of changes to include rooms.
This house could be obtained through quests, such as completing all of Blackwood and obtaining certain achievements for that zone.
I am simply using Blackwood as an example for the purpose of this post.

    • Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
    • Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

    Maybe give us something like a Keep, but set it up so that we can remove that walls and such and arrange it the way we want it.
    I'm looking at buying the Cold Harbor property to make my own keep, but that'll cost a lot of mats to build. But at least I can buy the land with in game gold, so that is attractive.

    I'd like to see more large properties available with in game gold.

    @Ulvich How much I like the idea, I would wish for such to be in Cyrodiil itself. The map of Cyrodiil already have plenty of structures that can be utilized for the purpose, with minor editing to adjust it for a homestead. The house own instance would need to be worked from scratch, though again, that still can be achieved with a little copying of the pre-existing structures on the map. The latter here are the very same procedure that all other houses have been made save a few unique homes.
    Map icons for houses are suppressed in Cyrodiil and only accessible outside the AVA instance.

    Houses inside Cyrodiil, available based on AVA Rank and gold/crowns, would add more incentive for players to interact in AVA. Putting houses that "looks like Cyrodiil" outside the environment for mere gold/crowns, is counter to the very idea itself. To iterate, we already have such houses to some degree with the initial manors that was added to the Homestead in 2017 iirc.

    I had the below in my notes for a decade now, along with other ideas for "improvements" to AVA that I deem impossible for the team to implement currently, that it would require restructuring map surface and proxies etc. etc.

    Rank 0-9: Inn Room (At the start base, optionally at an Inn, in a Town.)
    Rank 10-19: Apartment (The town houses can be reused for this.)
    Rank 20-29: Small House (The town houses can be reused for this, or shacks around in Cyrodiil.)
    Rank 30-29: Medium House (There are some with farms around though again Town houses can be used too.)
    Rank 40-49: Large House ( See above cause I am not writing it again.)
    Rank 50: Manor (The present Castles, Forts, Keeps can be reused for this purpose.)

    I thought of this as well, being in Cyrodiil. Have it overlook a faction base camp, high on a mountain. Just one problem with it being in Cyrodiil. Where do you enter into when you exit you home? Imagine leaving your home and are ported directly into Cyrodiil. Not good if the queue is high. Solution: Port directly to you faction's home city. However you would still be able to stand in the walls and look down into Cyrodiil, itself.

    I don't know that Cyrodiil could handle a player home. But, they could cheat it a bit. Have it not actually in Cyrodiil but make the entrance look like some sort of transportation to "Cyrodiil" from say Blackwood. And then have it look it's looking into Cyrodiil from the inside. Perhaps they could even have clashing enemies on the outside like they do in Doomchar with the Daedric walking around.

    The Five Companions house is on the edge of Cyrodiil and is Imperial style, though not really a keep. The devs may have intended it to function as a Cyrodiil house since this has been requested before.

    I was thinking along the same lines when I thought that Pale Pass would be a great location for a PvP Cyrodiil player house:

    During 2e, the fort might be a little more "liveable".

    This wall in Cyro- north of Fort Dragonclaw- shows where Pale Pass would open into Cyrodiil proper.

    Whether ZOS would feel comfortable putting a PvP gate into Cyrodiil here is an open question, but it would be pretty awesome.

    Oblivion's Pale Pass world space could serve as an open area, and "The Serpent's Trail" could serve something like the Draugr crypts section of Hakvild's High Hall player home.

    What would be really awesome is if it also included a gate to any future Falkreath zone. Like from Skyrim:

    The map of Cyrodiil once inside the PVP area would be as it is presently so it cannot be exploited. And the client can only access Homestead via the PVE zones, ie. Tamriel map or Wayshrines.
    The icons for the houses would only be available outside Cyrodiil and be suppressed once the client is inside Cyrodiil.
    When exiting a house it would be to the last known location that we ported in from, which can be coded and already exists currently with the characters last known position on logout.

    Homesteads are instanced areas that are created in a separate server slot once we load into a house. It is not part of any map surface other than the structure and the icon representing the instance.
