PSN Down After Maintenance

Ugh, I just want to see what Luxury Guy has and visit The Golden. It was working 2 hours ago. Staring at my TV screen hoping it comes back up.

I’m waiting another half hour but I don’t think it’s coming back up in that timeframe. *sigh*

I got booted right at the end of a decent keep defense because my internet went out for a minute. Tried to log back in as soon as it came back up hoping to still get the dtic only to see the whole PSN went down.

Yeah, I think it’s one of those deals where if you are in you can stay in, but once you log out you can’t get back in.

I wish I had known that before I took a break for dinner.

Didn’t work for everyone. My husband was playing Prominence Poker when PSN went down. It kicked him out of the game and when he tried to log back in, he got the PSN maintenance message.

I was playing an offline single player game at the time, so had no idea anything had happened until he said something and my Discord servers started lighting up about the topic.

Yeah. It's annoying because it's on top of the long maintenance ESO already had. This Lowkey sucks. I wonder game companies don't coordinate with Sony and Microsoft on maintenance big windows, it's not like Sony has it them often. Oh well

I don’t think this is regularly scheduled maintenance, it’s probably their turn for ddos attacks this time.

Think it said 11 days left on it when I was on yesterday before we went down. Problem is some of them are linked to time-based stuff, like one is to grab a daily log-in 10 times, I think? Could become a factor depending on how long this persists.

I was watching an ESO streamer playing with viewers the other night and one of his viewers said they were able to complete the Golden Pursuits with his help, so it's definitely possible to complete the outfit within a day or two with help from at least one other player (presumably for the "complete endeavors while grouped" one) if you don't need to complete the "time-gated" ones for collecting daily login rewards.

Hopefully the PS network will be back up soon-- the sooner the better.

Well, that's just my luck I guess, lol. Was hoping to hop back in before work today. Fingers crossed but not holding my breath.

Not sure what happens. Either the score just picks up where it left off, or the current points would be applied to the downtime retroactively.

Im currently logged in and playing. A few others seem to have gotten in as well. I noticed a few hours ago that the status for the account had changed from unknown, which is what it was last night when the outage started, to offline. I tried to play with it and get it into online but it did not work. Just a few minutes ago I was able to change that status setting to online and immediately checked to see if I could log into the game.

I'm guessing that if you are able to toggle that online/offline setting then it means that at least for you and your connection to PSN. You are good to go.

Uh, there is only one downside. I got less gold for the daily writs so I checked and my ESO Plus is not registering so stuff is not going to go into my craft bag. I guess I will leave the coffers unopened.
