Pan-Tamriel Best Event Ever!

This is the first event that I'm genuinely sad that it ends (with the exception of explorer's "event"). Even the great anniversary event can get stressful, but with Pan tamriel you finally achieved that I could just keep doing what I always enjoy doing, but getting event stuff on top of it - so in the end, I played more than I usually do, and was still able to keep doing things I actually enjoy without being forced to go to a specific zone or grind only dailies. :)

Yes, that's how I feel also! It was very refreshing.

@Ingenon If you have an Android phone there's a very useful app you can use, it was created by our fellow @Dalnorea

Eh....it went slightly above my expectations. Glad there was nothing extra to have to do like most events. That said, to someone who has practically no interest in furnishing or cosmetics the most I ever hope for is mats And I did get a handful of useful ones.

I agree with this mostly. I had to keep spending lots of coin to keep buying treasure maps and digging up those treasure chests though, so I won’t miss that.

I regret that I was unable to get the West Weald antiquity furnishing leads I needed because they were bugged even during the event. I did finally get all of the Ancestral Reach style learned on my main character but that was not my main goal. Still no Ancestral Breton or Ancestral Akavir, though.

    EDIT: typo

I generally had a good time with this event. I managed to get Tanlorin up to Level 20 and perk unlocked and Zerith-var is almost there (Level 18-ish? He's just waiting on Level 20 for the permanent perk unlock). Filled a few holes in a few motifs for my crafter, got a solid base to build from with the crafter on an alt account, got "Master Fisher" finished (finally), got a couple of toons up to the point of being able to scry and excavate purple leads (my main was having to do all the heavy lifting on that front), got four fragments of Doomchar, ... all in all, it was well worth the time spent playing.

If I had to give one particular pain point for the event, it's the cooldown timer for the event coffers. I was running a new-ish toon through the Leftweal public dungeon last night and spent most of the time in the dungeon sitting in various corners waiting for the timer to run so I could get a coffer from each of the bosses. Without having to wait on that timer, I'd have been done about 15 or 20 minutes earlier and moved on to other stuff (and got 15 or 20 minutes more use out of the XP scroll that was ticking down, too). I kind of understand why the timer is there, but it's still a pain point.
I'm fresh out of outrage, but I could muster up some amused annoyance if required.

Was a pretty good event for me as well. I got many things accomplished without feeling a need to spend every moment grinding.

All fish caught, and in the process cleaned up all of my treasure maps and surveys so my inventory is the cleanest it has been in a long time.

Finished leveling Zerith-Var (only had 4 levels to go) now I just need to play and win a tribute game for him. Got Tanlorin up to 10 from 1 just doing the daily box and killing things in my way over the first 3/4 of the event while fishing and farming surveys

The best thing was taking in some of the views particularly day to night transitions while chilling with the fishing pole. Great moonlight waterways etc.

Only thing left post event is to pick a character to get the treasure passive though antiquities and collect all the new leads I got along the way.

I think the combination of the event, how it was rewarded, and the simultaneous Gold Pursuits, was a great idea.

    Nicely done :)))))

I'm never fishing again. Not sure how you got Master Angler without curated drops.

Not a problem for me - I really enjoy relaxing while fishing!

I finished all the base game WBs I needed, got the last two special style pages I needed, then started farming dolmens until I realized (far to late in the event) that WBs had a five minute timer, so I could get a box everytime I beat up that Clannfear in Auridon.

Got 17 boxes the last two hours of the event. Got all but one of the Lion Guard Captain style pages (but someone gave me their extra).

So, yeah, I liked this event and I also loved being able to get so many boxes (will have to remember that next time a WB drops boxes)

I also got a pet and two pieces of the doomchar plateau from the event vendor (though I do object to her just poofing on me while I was talking to her at the end. Rude much? Not even a 'see you next time!').

So, all in all, I loved this event, hope it comes back next year, and that it is just as much fun.

I really enjoyed it. I didn't partake in the fishing, and didn't deliberately farm stuff, but between the dailies and just doing what I would be doing anyway, I got a lot of leads, loot, and motifs. It was neat finding more people around for world bosses too - still struggling with some of them, so the help was appreciated (and it went much faster!)

My one quibble would be that I would have preferred curated motif drops, But, since I'm more of an opportunist than completionist, I'm not really bothered by it - there's always someone who will take duplicates off your hands.
