Did you get Master Angler?

As someone who did not fish very much. Well, other than a brief Perfect Roe farm, I did not fish at all. Pan Tamriel got me excited about fishing. Having played since Launch, I had about 25 Trophy Fish total from my previous feeble fishing efforts. And, most of those came from lucky casts, not extended effort. I had exactly 0 Achievements for Fishing outside the Wrothgar Fish that is super easy to get.

With this event, I cleared Master Angler in all zones but Imperial City, but I ignore Imperial City for Reasons. Most zones only took me an Hour, and that was with Treasure Maps and Antiquity Digs thrown in. I had about 200 Treasure Maps stored up. Some zones like Summerset and Hews Bane took a long time due to lack of certain types of Fishing Holes.

Some interesting stats. I caught less than 1500 White Fish to get all the Achievements. ESO Hub states says a Master Angler Run across all zones would net about 5500 White Fish with Artaeum Pickled Fish Bowl, and bit more than 8000 without. This is on top of the Trophy Fish Count. I had about 1500 White Fish during this event. While I had Sharp with me the whole time, I only used the Fish Bowl food for the last half of the zones. The Curated aspect was probably the most beneficial. Not sure what the Event Boost was to catching Trophys in addition to being curated.

I had it for some zones or the Master Angler for the OG Zones, but finished up the missing Chapter zones
I did all the base game zones years ago, as well as a handful of DLC zones. I only with help of this event managed to finish all of the DLC ones, including IC.

None of the poll options really fit me. I'm aware you can fish and that there's achievements for it, but I rarely do it and have absolutely no intention of ever trying to finish any of them because I think it's one of the most boring things I've encountered in a game.

No exact vote choice for me. I finished Master Angler OG zones in late 2018 on my first two accounts and mid-2023 on my third account, on both PC NA and PC EU. I have fished some in other zones, but only when needing Perfect Roe, and I don't really care if I get the trophy fish in those zones.

I still have one account to get MA on (both PC megaservers), but I had too much else to do just now to mess with it - and I'm not worried about curated fish anyway. I have unlimited time to play so.... And besides, those two mains are still getting to CP160 (well, the PC NA one got there last week, but PC EU needs another 50 CP).

Anyway, once CP 160 and gear is out of the way, I'll see if I feel like fishing!

I had no zones at all and now I am complete
I got it during this event, and I got the Anglers achievements for every zone in the game, including IC. I got somewhere between 1,400-1,500 common fish which ended up giving me 13 Perfect Roe. I did use Artaeum food, the three green CP skills, and Sharp’s perk. I believe I ended up using 8 to 10 servings of the Artaeum food (one of the green CPs extended the buff from 2 hours to 2.5 hours).

It was thanks to curated fishing that I was able to achieve all of this, I never would have probably done it otherwise, especially hearing that without curated fishing it would have taken catching at least 5,500 common fish! 🎣

Still have Some or a Lot of Zones to Finish
I was able to complete a few zones, including some where I began with 0 rare fish, but I didn't start fishing early enough and didn't fish frequently enough to complete more than a few zones-- so far, just 3 per server (which doesn't include the starter zones, which I completed long ago).

Fishing is a relaxing way to spend some time in the game, but there are so many other activities I enjoy doing that I can't see myself spending a lot of time fishing.

I do feel like I'd probably have been better off fishing a little bit in each zone rather than trying to finish one zone before going to the next, because fishing for several hours in a single zone trying to catch those last few rare fish was mind-numbingly dull. I should add that I wasn't using any food buffs or CP abilities to improve my chances, and most of the time I was fishing by myself, so that may have been why it was taking so long.
I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!

I had it for some zones or the Master Angler for the OG Zones, but finished up the missing Chapter zones
i earned the original master angler before the rng helpers existed. i remember them taking hours upon hours to earn. During this event i finished up my missing ones, which were high isle, galen, necrom, and west weald and they were all relatively fast with the fishing food, sharp, and the curated drop rates

at this point, we need a grand master fishing title

My elf only fishes to support the rations she crafts and to get the occasional perfect roe. So she drops a line each day and pulls three fish that she can cook. Getting trophy fish simply irritates her since she can't cook with them. And she's never been able to get her head around the idea of eating fish from 'foul' water so she's never dropped a line in foul waters.

We have no idea what her fishing achievements look like except to be sure she has never caught a foul water fish.

I'd already done original master angler from the base game, and Vvardenfell and Craglorn were complete. I used the event to get all the other DLCs, and it was quite fun for a fishing adventure. I didn't track the amount of fish I got. The only place I didn't do and will never do is Imperial City, because I just don't want to.
