I finished the missing base game Master Angler zones, IC and about half of DLC ones.
But I was not fishing much. My focus were the event boxes.

I had Master Angler on NA & EU plus a few DLC zones, and finished all DLC zones on NA. Took almost all of the event so only got to dig up 5 treasure maps, hopefully they bring the maps thing back. Was cool to finally get all the fish though

Before the event I had Master Angler and 3-4 DLC zones. Finished everything up during the event.

I got Master Angler a couple of years ago, but I used the event to finish the handful of zones I still had not cleared.
Initially, that wasn't going to include IC, also for Reasons, but after I finished my last zone last night, I still had never tried to fish in IC, and my need got the best of me this morning.

I jumped into IC with my fishing character about an hour ago, who is only level 20 as of yesterday, and wears only the slave gear (the non-armor stuff that has no stats) that she got when I created her (she's mostly just a mule character).
It took me just 4 nodes to get all 12 fish, and only one person killed me right when I jumped in, but I fished peacefully with two enemy players at two of the nodes, and thanked them for not killing me when I dinged my last needed fish.

So now I have every zone complete.

Same here. I only had West Weald because of the Mount.
I enjoyed the experience for the most part. Just a bit of frustration when hit by bad RNG for a couple of fish, which obviously was still good but compared to the others it felt weird to take so much.

I probably only have 3 or 4 zones total with all rare fish. I just can't commit myself to fishing for long periods of time. Now if they did the "Pulled from the depths" everywhere, so there's a chance fishing leads to a fight, you might have my attention. Otherwise, it just doesn't do it for me.

I had done base game Master Angler in 2021 and most of the DLC anglers, but was missing some fish from Murkmire and Clockwork City. I refuse to go to IC so that's gonna be my only missing angler achiev for now (if we don't count the purple fish from Wrothgar - it's not curated).

I don't use titles at all. For me, the whole point to Master Angler was the boat.

I had master angler from a year or so ago, but completed all of the zone fishing achievements in the DLC zones (also - thanks to the player who ganked me in Imperial City five seconds after I got the achievement there).

Still haven't got the slaughterfish in Wrothgar or the lurker in Apocrypha.

I have to laugh at myself for finishing it the month before the event made it curated/easy. Last of the "Old School"

I finished master angler the very last night of the event. I also got a lot of DLC zones done , except summerset. *insert rude gesture to foul nodes* I gave up at an hour and a half last night of staring at the spot the foul node spawns. The rest of the event I ran between the few foul spots and saw ONE node the entire time.

Have had Master Angler for some time, but took and finished some dlc/chapter zones I was missing. Like Clockwork, because my last 3 there has been avoiding me for ages.

Not "last". I still have one account (I play on both PC megaservers) that needs it yet, and didn't have time to do it right now (and didn't really want to anyway - I don't really care about how much time it takes or if it's curated).

I managed to get Master Angler on NA and EU having only done Auridon and a bit of Grahtwood before the event. Also got Craglorn (took ten minutes!) and Artaeum (took three minutes!!). But this was at the expense of all other event-related activities besides a daily quick WB to get my tickets. Hoping ZOS do this again next year so I can get the DLC zones.

Already had Master Angler. Only zone I don't have completed is Imperial City, though I do have SOME fish from there.

I did not cast a single line during the event.

Aww, fun poll, but I am in between your first and second choices!

I have been SLOOOOOOOWLY working towards Master Angler since 2014. Fishing doesn't keep my interest for long periods, but I like checking off achievements.

Therefore, I had a LOT of "unfinished" zones representing a fair amount of time fishing over the years. In some cases only one or two rare fish missing, in some cases I'd have all of the "ocean" category done but not river, etc. No one place where I had "Master Angler" anything. Maybe one or two zones completed.

I thoroughly enjoyed the event, which allowed me to build on my previous time invested to obtain the "big" Master Angler achievement, all fishing achievements tied to a reward like a dye, Imperial City, Hew's Bane, and Clockwork City. I read posts by others on how best to prioritize and followed those suggestions. I did not have time to do "all" zones, though, so any zone not recommended as something to be prioritized or tied to a special award will be back to my very slow progression (unless there is another event).

I found that this event made fishing much more enjoyable for me. I enjoyed the peacefulness and the scenery. The areas around the fishing holes were quite active with people. I noticed the world of Tamriel in a way I haven't appreciated in quite some time. And because of the curation, it was much more enjoyable than "normal" fishing, where my lack of progress / bad RNG caused me to lose interest quickly. Good event!

I got Master Angler with no buffs other than the food. It has to be a LOT easier now with the CP and companion boons. I may have an DLC zone or two left.

Curses on zones with one water type, like Norther Elsweyr.

I got all the base-game zones done and Cyrodiil was the one that was mostly holding me back. I'd already completed a few of the expansion zones, but figure I can get those farther on down the line (time and effort, mostly, but IC remains an issue).

Got the most important or difficult zones finished during the event. I would probably engage with fishing more if it granted more evergreen rewards at a more reliable frequency. Perfect Roe is alright but has limited use for me personally, and gunny sacks are mostly meh. Now if gunny sacks had a decent chance at gold upgrade materials or bundles of alchemy mats... I might fish more lol.

Got everything except Cyradil and Imperial City. Haven't done DLCs since you don't get dyes for them. Have done Artaeum tho.
