I assume this is for all servers? I haven’t tried fishing yet during the event but that was going to be my main activity for the weekend. I’m on Xbox NA.

Both champion stars active, buff food and Sharp also active.

I am fishing rivers for over one hour, nothing.

I fished for like, 2 hours last night and didn't get a single curated fish in rivers or on beaches. I tried in multiple zones. Of course, I didn't get the sword replica either.

Last night I got Angler in Bankgorai, Glenumbra, Rivenspire, and Alik'r, and every fish was curated or I was just lucky.

I would like to suggest that ZOS considers just leaving the rare fish curated after the event going forward. I think it would be a nice boon to help those that come later get the achievements faster.

Team is working on it now. It will be today. Everyone is doing checks and such to make sure things are correct, so we should have an update later today.

PLEASE could this idea be pitched to the devs? Fishing is simple but it's such a tedious chore that I'm willing to bet my entire account most people never really engage with it. There really isn't any reason NOT to leave the fish drops curated imo, and it would incentivize people to engaging with a part of the game they'd otherwise simply opt to ignore.

Lake Fishing Holes in Markarth don't give ANY rare fish at all!

Both champion stars active, buff food and Sharp also active.

I was fishing at lakes until six fishing holes went dry, nothing.

Edit: Hotfix seems to be active, both issues solved and foul fishing holes in Gold Coast finally drop curated fish!

Okay, I'm not getting the Crab-Slaughter-Crane fish from salt holes in the correct area of Wrothgar at night in-game, doesn't this count as curated? I was only getting trophy fish I already have.

Some of the holes are bugged. It's getting fixed later today

I wish ZoS would consider applying some sort of fishing curation from now on, maybe as a reward or whatnot...

I'm getting DLC zones achievements in 30 minutes per zone during this event, with all bonuses.

When I did coldharbour for my master angler, I was apparently lucky, because it "only" took me 6 hours, although companion and CP buffs were not a thing at the time.

I think you're just being unlucky, got all of them yesterday.
Righ now, from DLC zones, only gold coast foul and galen salt water are bugged. Although I'm on PC.

Afaik, the crabe slaughter crane worked a bit different than usual trophy fishes.
Also, you didn't even need to fish it at night iirc, just had a bit of an iffy RNG.

Not sure if this one is in the same table as the curated fish, since it is technically not an angler achievement. I was after that achievement since a few weeks (on and off, not everyday) and I fished a few holes earlier today (daytime in-game) to check if it is curated and did not get it, only the green and blue fish; then I logged in later today (nighttime) and got it first try.

Has anyone caught the Crab-Slaughter-Crane during this event? I have been fishing at night in saltwater in Wrothgar after talking to the quest giver, and keep getting the other ocean fish again and again. So either the curation isn't working for this fish or I am doing something wrong......

I finally started working on fishing on PC NA yesterday, and was able to complete Stormhaven's achievement after starting out with 0/12 rare fish. It took a while, and finding certain types of fishing holes was sometimes a challenge, but I enjoyed it. I got Glenumbra completed, as well, but had already found most of the rare fish beforehand. I'm hoping I can get one or two zones completed each day before the event ends.

I caught the crab slaughter crane during the event at 1.05am ESO time and i had been trying for days and some random person joined my fishing hole and voila (achievement success) I'm led to believe not all salt water holes work only the ones between the Morkul stronghold and the Morkul plain wayshrine slightly southwards. so if you speak to the npc fishing nearby she says fish at night and make sure others are around to help. hopefully this information will be of use to you

Could you please take a look at the *FOUL Water Hole* spawns in Summerset!

I am only missing 2 fishes from there, but I can't get them, because there are no spawns of those holes.

I have been to all 12 locations of foul water holes in summerset I know of for the last 4 days. I did wait for about 10min at eacht spawn location, but no spawn happened.

It is quite frustrating

Yes, apart from the Wrothgar purple fish the Summerset foul are the other one's I can't get. I camped at one hole for nearly an hour the other day and it never spawned. Given there are people camping at every hole as soon as one is cleared another should respawn. I did get one spawn last night at the docks but 4 people were there so only got about 4 casts out of it. Some people are saying there are having more luck in the Karnwasten public dungeon, so I'll try there tonight.
