UPDATE:

I finally got the last saltwater fish after the 5th Stormhaven Flounder.

I only had this issue (fish not been curated) at Stormhaven saltwater fishing holes. Everywhere else has been curated so far.

Hey all! Quick update here. We did in fact forget to tell the fish about the curation in certain zones. However, we are getting that fixed today in a hotfix. The team is reviewing now. Thanks for flagging.

Will this thread be updated or an announcement made somewhere when the hotfix has taken place?

I'm in Bankorai and the last fish I need is the Lenok but I keep getting the Panga.

The Pupfish was 2nd to last I needed.

Thank you - foul holes in stonefalls are reluctant to give out fungusfish, but very happy to give carp!

Yea I’m sat here trying to catch a Sea Robin but getting multiples of the Cod.

I noticed this happening in Galen too; I had one salt water fish left, but kept getting repeats of other rare fish.

I had one missing fish in IC & Western Skyrim and caught them quickly, but I've been in Galen for a WHILE now, having caught 13 Suncleft Cod and not a single Sea Robin

Sure thing. The team is still working on it, so depending on when they finish, this might be hotfixed tomorrow now. But we will update once the hotfix happens and is complete.

My 18 fungusfish and I would beg to differ, apparently the scum carp doesn't exist. @ZOS_Kevin

Edit: Make that 24 fungusfish...I gave up haha

I have the opposite problem, I keep getting Suncleft Cod and have yet to recieve any Sea Robin. @ZOS_Kevin

Hey Kevin, kept getting the same fish in Gold Coast ("Spiny Frogfish" from foul fishing spots) - just thought I'd report this here so it won't get missed. Looking forward to the hotfix!

Just to add that I'm having the same issue with getting endless Scum Carp in Stonefalls. I only need Fungusfish to finish the zone! So Stonefalls needs adding or is bugged, too. @ZOS_Kevin

Not sure if related to curation, but while working on my missing Murkmire fish, I got only white fish from the first hole... And only by the second hole I finally got my first trophy fish, the one that was missing. Just wanna know if it's normal behavior or related to this problem?

Looks like it was working just like it's supposed to. Curation is only supposed to kick in when you trigger catching a Trophy fish. You've still got to wade through all the normal fish. But you can buff your fishing with CP perks, Sharp As Night, and Food, to increase your chances of catching Trophy fish.

Just adding to the list of non curaded fish: Foul fish in Eastmarch.

This is really annoying. Please fix it fast.

Just reporting: Several dozens of snipe eels from foul spots in eastmarch for me. Not getting the other green one. All boosts active (food, sharp, cp, bait) at least 200 casts, didn 't count, but normal white fish running over 150 by now.

Yes, it seems that the game decides which one green fish you will fish forever on the affected foul spots, regardless.

For me, it is Fungusfish in Stonefalls and Modoc Sucker (how fitting) in Eastmarch.

Went through Rivenspire and got each rare fish only one time on my secondary account. PCNA via Epic. So, either I was lucky or curation works correctly in some zones. Just thought I'd share that I've not encountered any issues as of yet.

I had a couple fish repeat so I was going to post on here. But looks like a hotfix is coming so that's good. The regions where it worked though felt really good and makes me want to complete these achievements now.

Curation worked (or RNG was lucky) in Vvardenfell, but Gold Coast is a disaster.

Just keep getting spiny frogfish one after another…not the last drop I need.

Gave up after i've caught 10 Sea Robins in Galen

All I'm missing in Galen is the Suncleft Cod ...

Spent time in Stonefalls, kept getting the Blue fish from Foul water. Like...six or so times in a row. Meanwhile a friend with me kept getting the same Green fish (not sure which one).

Stormhaven saltwater fish are also not curated. This is the first zone I've had issues with so far though.
