Partner is trying to get gifting enabled for a year now. Embarrassing support.

How is this not just AI responding to them? a double negative admitting they use bots, the awkward "Gifting was removed from this account due to being compromised. Because of this Gifting was removed from this account." sentence.. Also, where's the register button for the forums? They can't even post here, and I feel like it should be way easier to do that.

I moved across countries, used stadia/shadow etc to play the game on the cloud so my IP kept changing and yet I was able to get gifting enabled on my account despite not playing for like 2 years at the time of me asking.

My partner has been playing for 6 years, has pre-ordered multiple expansions, always pays for ESO+ when they play and has never ever had their account/e-mail or anything of the sort be compromised. They mentioned having to engage with social aspects in previous e-mails, but my partner does *not* want to do anything but play solo or with me, and does not care for guilds or raiding or pvp.

What can we do?

    Glad you added the ticket number since I was wondering what the purpose of this thread was.

    @ZOS_Kevin @ZOS_Bill may be able to help or get someone who can but they may need to speak to the affected account holder.

    By the way, it does not look like a bot, though it does look like there is some boilerplate copy-and-paste text in there. Most CS responses are quick, and they have to work on speed, not eloquence, so it is probably easy to think it may be a bot.
