It's time to add respecification shrines to player homes.

An argument could be made that in the beginning of the game player houses weren't meant to have acess to all the modern QOL furnishings we have today. However since we have every other in-game method to customize and build a character in a player house besides attribute and skill respecification shrines, I think it's time to add them.

If this is the last hard line in the sand, at least give us shrines to Mara so we can make functional wedding venues.

Functional mara shrines would be beautiful, especially with the temple of the divines house. When I first saw that house I thought it'd be great for a wedding venue, but I wasn't gonna put in money to buy and decorate it just for probably no one to use it.

With there being furnishings specefic for weddings, you'd have thought they'd added Mara shrines already. I hope we at least get those some day.

Only if we get shrines that are not to the (spits) Imperial Pantheon.

Why cannot I not praise Mehrunes Dagon, the Daedric Prince of change in regards to changing my skills?

While I personally don't use such shrines often, I'm not against it, however, I'd prefer a home wayshrine. Even though some houses are really, really close to one and can be ported outside for that, saving one loading screen would speed-up things on my side... and saving a tiny bit (or not O_O) for the servers.

^ You can effectively have a respec shrine with an empty armoury slot.
And there is a furnishing that is that shrine, I believe

Extra slots cost money, for people with more than 1 build per character. And the current furnishing shrines are decoration only, not functional.

So do Mundus Stones. And if shrines were to become available, I'd bet they'd cost around the same price as Mundus if not more expensive. Because you just know they'd be crown store items.

I don't see a problem here. Of course respec shrines will cost Crowns. It'd just be convenient to use them in our homes, near the trial dummy, instead of porting out of our homes to use one in the world for free.

Also, leaving an empty Armory slot for this purpose is tedious — you'd have to reassign/remorph all of your skills, rather than just the one you want to change.

Just a fyi for anyone that doesn't know......

The respec shrines in Elden Root, Grahtwood are really easy to access, close to wayshrine, no doors to go through, so no loading screens.

I would definitely like a usable Mara Shrine for my houses too though! 🙂

I would rather pay for a shrine once than an extra armory slot times how many alts i have. You're forgetting that's a one time purchase vs armory slots that are character specific.

There's no real reason not to have them. There are no balance considerations, no game-breaking exploits, no real downside at all. If they're just copying the existing shrine, it probably wouldn't even be that big of a deal to engineer. The armory station is more complicated, and that fits in just fine.

I just wouldn't ever mess with them. I don't respec often enough to make it worthwhile. Total casual here....
