Oh. Well.... hmm. I tend to believe that if I personally haven't been here 10 years, I'm not entitled to one.... But that's just me.
If anyone wanted to see the scale. That's a standard deck of cards.
So is it teak wood and zinc alloy like in the description on the shop page, or is it plastic?

The zinc alloy must refer to the mechanical parts of the music box, because the crank is 100% plastic.
The box I can't say definitely. It's solid, sturdy and wood-like but also has a plasticky feel, almost like cast resin?

Yeah, I've seen the inner part on that video linked above. It's basically a variant of this, it seems:

I know those. Tourist places here sell them just like that, without any box, with melodies of local folk songs (at a price point of about 3 Euros about 15 years ago, now the common price seems to be 5 to 7 Euros, from what I see online).
I'm more curious about the ornamental fittings outside. From the photos it's hard to tell whether that's painted brown plastic or actually burnished brass or something like that.

I think they commonly just call it "musical mechanism". Upon a short search, I also find "music box tune", "cylinder mechanism" or just "movement". I actually have a friend who built such things as a hobby. I'll ask him later in case he knows (not sure whether he ordered the parts for his projects abroad).

I confess, I thought it was going to be a little bit bigger, and I’m surprised you don’t wind it up and listen to it play, but you have to turn a plastic crank to make it play. I wish that crank could have been metal and felt a bit sturdier.
