Just of note, if these Legerdemain consumables don't offer anything extra beyond the 20 levels we already have access to, what's really the point, exactly? Spent a few hours doing this event on the PTS. Picked up ONE Pouch of Ill-Gotten goods with nothing really of note in it. I was hoping to find the consumable, but I highly doubt it will level us beyond what's available.

The event doesn't really feel like anything beyond what we're normally experiencing when crimin'. It's fun to stack the bounty, and run around crazed and killing, but to what end, really, when the rewards and the experience feel exactly the same. A little extra gold and 50 extra items to vendor isn't that big of a deal.

This could have been a great opportunity to give us a chance at more progression within the thief skillsets themselves.

For new players and for alts of not so new players. Very annoying skill line to level, most of my characters don't have legerdemain maxed.

    • How do you feel about item drop rate during this event?
One of my goals in testing was to see if I could correlate bounty level to drop rate for the special loot pouches, so I was the opposite of subtle with my thieving. I got my first pouch with around 700g bounty. Beyond that it was hard to tell since my bounty just kept going up and I got tired of managing it, but most of the time I had 2k+ bounty. I spent maybe half an hour looting safeboxes in a densely-populated area with no other players, and found ~12-15 pouches. Only one of them had a gold legerdemain-boosting consumable.

I'd say the drop rate for the pouches wasn't bad, as long as you maintain a bounty, but it'll probably feel worse when players are competing for safeboxes/troves and there aren't as many to go around. The drop rate for the new consumable is probably low enough to make the grind not feel worth it for people who aren't already going all-in on the activity.
    • How did this new mini-event feel? Did you have fun playing this event type?
I enjoy thieving as an activity, but it's also something I can take or leave depending on what's in it for me. I think the benefits to the event (increased fencing limit, boosted fencing payout, and extra TG/DB daily boxes) are worthwhile for people who want to get in on it, but it's also not something that people should feel compelled to spend their time on if they don't want to. So that seems like a good balance to me, even if personally it's still in "take it or leave it" territory without a shinier prize to chase.

I think the biggest detriment to this kind of event will be the pvp aspect of having to compete with other players for limited safebox/trove spawns. You can't steal what ain't there to steal, and I'd expect the best safebox spots to be pretty heavily camped. Which would leave most people to scrounge what they can find as they go about their regular business, which isn't really compatible with needing to maintain a bounty. So I can see people getting frustrated if they want to farm the event but aren't finding things to farm. It should be easier to find uncamped NPCs to pickpocket, but that has its own occupational hazards.
    • Do you have any other general feedback?
I appreciate that the gold legerdemain consumable can be laundered, put in the bank, and sold on guild traders.

The +100% increase on fence interactions is somewhat misleading, and I think it's because the increase doesn't take into account the character's Trafficker passive. My main character normally has 140 fencing slots with maxed Trafficker, but she only had 190 slots on PTS with the event active rather than 280. I think it just added +50 slots to "double" the standard base amount. So you might want to either actually double the character's total amount or change the event wording to say it increases interactions by +50.
