Very excited to see you're working with player dialogue!

I was honestly very surprised to see the patch note that there are going to be occasions where players can choose the tone of their responses to NPCs. This has always been a core aspect of leading Elder Scrolls games. It's awesome that it's finally being implemented some more in ESO.

Indeed. Perhaps we may get a speechcraft skill-line at some point.

Bundle Intimidation and Persuasion into it. Get cheaper armor repairs. Sell things to merchants at a higher price. Discounts on buying things. Maybe even able to buy a small selection of crafting mats from merchants (with a daily limit).

It does sound very interesting, especially if our choices will shape NPC responses and even the way the quest progresses.

I wonder if they'll be adding that to old quests or if we'll only see it in new content moving forward.

This is a very much appreciated change, and I'm also surprised that there was never any note on plans of including this before.

Rad, thanks for the link. Not surprising that they're not doing a major overhaul of old content, and my main character who gets all the RP action wouldn't benefit from that anyway, so I'll look forward to seeing what they're doing with new stuff. :D

Can't wait to give a flirty reply to a distraught noblewoman who just told me the Worm Cult has abducted her husband ;)

No, seriously: I'm curious how "evil" the less-than-friendly replies will be. Because there had been a debate a few months ago that ESO doesn't let us play a morally grey or even evil character. I'm curious whether that has changed.
