Point of Customer Support forum ?

I maybe way out of line here but I have to ask...

what is the point of this customer support forum?
all I've seen is legitimate complains from customers who are then replied to by other customers..

in 15 threads on the first page (not counting the statements made by ZOS) I've only seen 2 replies from an actual Customer Support Agent.
one was suprisingly about billing and got picked up quite quickly even.

the other was about an issue that's annoying the **** out of players since day one.. the constant stream of botters everywhere..


I would like to believe that customer support is reading the forums.
but with 1 in 50 threads getting an actual reply I'm becoming very sceptical...

seriously guys improve the CS department here hire extra people or whatever..

    Some issues get replies, most get ignored (or rather, don't get replies). But I know they read here generally. As far as I can see online, Zenimax only employs a few community forum people.

    then add some sort of option stating that CS has read the post... that would at the very least give people a feeling of being listened too.

    lol all you see is legitimate complaints? You must be reading a different customer support forum than me. Yes there are some but not all are. Just because they don't reply to every single thread doesn't mean they aren't working on stuff or they aren't investigating. They won't be responding to posts about bugs they are fixing in 1.1 because all they can do is say its on pts which does nothing to people who don't have access. Honestly they don't have to tell us *** and if you have a serious issue why don't you call them instead?

    Edit: oh and to the comment about other players posting on complaints? maybe those other players have had same problem and knows a work around?? Whats wrong with that (I know some troll/attack people but still) it is a public forum...

    When they log calls for customers a yellow box appears saying they've logged a call with Customer Support on that particular post.

    It's a waste of resources, IMHO, to reply to everything here as a lot of it is just ranting, quit threads etc.

    Every MMO forum has players who help, you cant expect that those 4 or 5 from ZO do it all alone, especially since they only mod this place and don't sit side by side with the actual developers.

    Also many "issues" are not real issue´s, but user caused problems that were analyzed a million times before, or just silly "I quit because of..." threads.

    If people would use the search button more often and stop posting their goodbye messages, we could probably lower the new threads by 50% or more and those that actual offer solutions stay on top longer.
