Annoying Hackwings!

Hackwings would get my vote for most annoying overland beast! I mean they aren't hard to kill, but that knockback makes me crazy lol. What about you? What is your most annoying, but easy beast to kill?

Kotu Gava Broodmothers. Even after nerfing. Hate those damn things.

Giant wasps. Actually all wasps in ESO give me the heebie jeebies after a giant wasp stuck an egg on me and I got that baby wasp hatch out and start following me. I've never let them close since that one incident LOL. I don't normally mind bugs in games, spiders don't bother me at all in ESO. But I draw the line at being the host for their offspring! :D

Also clanfear when you're too much of a noob to know how to block. I was like "aww cute dinosaur" then it pinned me on my back like an over-excited labrador.

Well, I knew to block, but my satellite lag made that so problematic it took me ages to get through that part of the MQ (where the damned clannfear is hanging onto Lyris's axe) . And on the second account it was actually even worse. Not doing it again EVER.

I hate all "trash mobs" because they are so effortless to kill they are a waste of time, especially if I'm kept in combat for a few seconds after the encounter.

But what I hate the most are the bats/zombies/swarming dwarven spiders that appear in waves. I constantly experience time urgency and despise being stuck in combat, so this is actual torture for me.

Next to those, I dislike Ice Wraiths because they are temporarily immune to attacks after emerging from underground. That moment is painful to me. No exaggeration.

    Great Answer!

Crap! Totally forgot about Icer Wraiths! I might have to rethink my number one then, because I spend most of my time doing surveys and there is one in Wrothgar for Platinum Dust that is in-between 4 Ice Wraiths!

But the babies are friendly, and harmless. It was such a cute random thing when I got a baby skein wasp "pet" while doing Summerset's main quest. I would have kept it if I could.

Hackwings and anything else that knocks you down can be definitely be annoying. I used to go out of my way to avoid the kotu gava broodmothers, although I actually felt a little bit disappointed when I realized that they had been nerfed.
I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!

Annoying but easy beast to kill?

For me all the swarming creatures: wasps, spiders etc. are extremely annoying. This is where I find companions AOEs very useful as I tend not to waste my clicks on thrash mobs saving my arthritic tendons for more demanding fights.

However when I was new to the game clanfears and the like taught me to preemptively block, that's also where I learnt to block-cast. Other "trash mobs" & bosses taught me the necessity of the roll-dodge to evade AOEs.

    Learning by doing is fun!

A few people mentioned them, but the swarms that appear in waves are an annoying time sink. I'm glad they haven't added anything like that in a while.

Depends on what zone you're talking about to be honest. Cyrodiil overland it would have to be other players... AD/DC in my particular case. Which is why I'd deal with hackwings any day of the week.

And then there are those mudcrabs. You can cast a bunch of skills their way and they won't be bothered. But heaven forbid you try to target something behind them because that is when the game decides your attack shouldn't go where your crosshair is pointing but rather to the pincher brigade at your feet...

What was weird, took time to kill them as I was captured all the time😺

As they don't appear to even have plumage, I can only assume that someone has plucked them all to use as materials.

None of these hostile creatures are even half as annoying as the twilight pets that are in our faces when we're trying to interact with crafting stations or vendors. Then, after all these years of players saying it's a nuisance and a problem, nothing is done about it.

More than a specific overland mob, what kinda get on my nerves when I'm questing around is the excess of stun we get. Sometimes we just wanna sprint through a delve for a daily, we're stunned, locked in place (i.e. from charging enemies), barb trapped, slowed down and so on.

But, yeah, Kotu Gava Broodmother is a pain >.<

Funny thing is that they used to charge instead of jumping but it was changed for whatever reason like 5y ago. Biggest overland PvE buff at all times.
