Console add-ons sound good. They did mention "API limits", so I really hope this doesn't negatively affect the PC add-on experience.
I'm willing to bet those limitations are ONLY for console. Why would they need to limit the API for PC when PC runs on separate server hardware?

Also we may have finally received (unintentional) confirmation from Mike Finnigan that the events of ESO are over 10 years in-game, meaning the events all don’t take place in 582??

That was, kind of, always the case.
Every character can start everywhere, so the events seem to be placed in 2E582, as that is where each character starts. But as you quest on that character, time goes by, so other events will happen later. They just can't put an "official" date on them because there is no canonical sequence in which they take place, and are different for each character.
Though it's possible that they may stretch out official dates at some point, creating a canonical version of events that may be different from what your character experienced.
Nope, they literally said before that all the events taking place were happening within the same year, and it was always ridiculous. And using the "we want players to play in whatever order" excuse was always a lame one because it's been shown time and again in the TES universe that time is FAR from linear. It's how Dragon Breaks exist, for example. They could have been saying from the start that time has been passing ingame regardless of where you start quest or zone-wise, with the explanation of "these events just haven't happened for you yet".

They do that as part of a certain guy's quest if you finish that Summerset quest before finishing the Planemeld main quest (it could be the opposite way, it's been so long since I've done either quest idr the order lol). It's like "why don't you remember me even tho we met before" and his response is roughly "things that have happened for you haven't happened yet for me" or something along those lines. (And now I'm remembering the book you can find at the end of the quest during the party and have made myself sad.)

Myself and a bunch of other people (especially use RPers) have been considering the time having passed ingame the same as irl, which is to say we've already been saying it's like 293 or whatever lol, whether they're going to start referring to that lorewise or not.

I look forward to the Cyrodiil test. This should have been done a long time ago.

Regardless of whether they could or should improve the server, if that's not going to happen, it's important that players don't have the ability to break the game through normal gameplay.

Of course, it's possible this test will reveal the problems go deeper than anyone presently understands and will solve nothing....

Anyway, it's just a test. We can debate its merits after we experience it first hand.

I personally have always agreed with that but it’s now nice to have it said out loud. The timeline was becoming very silly otherwise: https://en.m.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Second_Era

love the idea of increase base mount speed. a new character its faster to sprint for the first 30 days. while were add it we need a revamp on the feeding once per day per character to maybe once per week or something. I personally hate anything that forces a daily log on especially if i have 12 alts
